Best place to buy 7 - 8" twin tail wig?

Recommended Posts

meteorite

Putting this in the Obitsu forum because many OB dolls have smaller heads.

I'm looking for a wig for my Volks MSD (7.5"). I would love some cute twintails for her, but I can't find a single shop that sells this style other than Volks. I'd like to avoid paying for EMS/DHL and I've heard Volks wigs are low quality for the price you pay.

Shops I've already checked:

Mandarake mostly has 8-9" wigs in its secondhand section. The secondhand 7-8" wigs they do have are a short shaggy style or hime cut.

Dollyteria is the same.

Dollce doesn't do 7-8", only 7" and 9".

Azone Beshine has 7-8" but in a very limited range of styles (bobs or long hime cuts).

Luts has a good range of wigs but the shipping cost is high - I prefer to use air small packet for shipping.

Parabox doesn't do 7-8" twintail wigs.

Etsy won't accept my payment (but otherwise I would get a wig from a seller there).

Moved on to resin BJD

Favourite DD: Sakuno Uryuu

My go-tos for wigs are always Leeke and For My Doll. Their wigs are very nice and they come in a huge variety of options

For My Doll is even advertising some new twintail wigs on the first page.

Mandarake does have twintailed Himezakura wigs (their own brand).

Himezakura

Not to nitpick, but the correct name is Himekazura. It’s a play on words—if you were to write it in kanji, it would be 姫葛 (pronounced himekuzu), which is a kind of flower, but also hime (姫) is the word for princess and kazura is another way of pronouncing katsura (鬘), the word for wig, so basically it means a ‘wig for your princess’.

@ragnamuffin That's what I get for not double-checking the spelling. 😓
