Making Custom Nails?

Hello!

 

Ive wanted to create nails for my dollfie for a while now but i dont know where to start! i searched the forum but the only post that came up was using plastic straws and i cant buy them here anymore 😅

i’ve seen some very beautiful nails that people have created themselves and i’d like to know where to start!

Check YouTube for tutorials on making nails for dolls with UV Resin. 

I think ages ago on a similar thread I linked these, which are 3d printed tiny nails someone sells on booth.pm you can glue onto hands. I'm sure you can find a way to make them more like real life acrylics that you can swap out too, probably. They might be a little less tedious than trying to do a little drop of UV resin?

I made some fake nails for my Marin custom using UV polish!

"The process involved cutting clear acrylic nails into tiny pieces, using a base coat gel polish to attach the nail to the finger by putting a drop under the nail and curing with a UV lamp, and then painting the fake nails with the pink polish and curing again"

I just used human-sized fake acrylic nails and cut them into tiny pieces, but as the others have mentioned there are a lot of different methods you can try ^.^
