DC is not very known in the spanish bjd community comparing to Volks, I think Germany has more DC fanbase as there is a SMD dealer there. DD daycare stand was Murasaki.me stand with a Huntr/x concert going on. There was another DDCH21 in the daycare, a tan one. I failed to meet some international owners from Italy, Netherlands or France I wished to meet. There were a Volks photo expo in a corner and the doll expo was perfect, with tons of resins and an area showcasing the Dollfie dream sizes. There were three Shigeta sibilings (one boy remained at Japan) and all Volks staff were fantastic. Sound of the meet&greet weren't so I agree. When I reached Volks stand after the non VIP opening there were ten outfits left, the SD standards still were there and there were some volks news magazine with the matching SD version. The rest of the stock was kidnapped by spanish customs (and arrived Barcelona +10 days ago but retained). Here is a photo of my loot. My friend won the MDD Yuzu raffle and I'm welcoming my first resin superdollfie, none other than SD117 tan one-off! I had a blast!

Wow that's a great haul. I could have bought more stuff but my hands were so full carting two dolls around all day. I wanted some wigs but the Hanasu stall didn't have anything we really wanted. I got a lot of good Pureneemo stuff. It's really rare back home. We also have some cute MDD accessories. We reviewed my photos in the Zoom meet today and we do believe there was indeed a tan 21 MDD chillin' at the event. Strangely I can't remember seeing a single Miku. There were a couple of very nice custom Anyas. I'd like to make one too because I want to take her to next year's anime events but her original wig is too delicate to take out. I really liked the trio of rare DD having a concert at the Murasaki.me stand. I wish they had those outfits for sale. The display of custom vinyl dolls was great. We were discussing whether or not to classify Lina Inverse as a grail. I don't think I've ever seen her for sale anywhere. The DDdy version of Rin Tohsaka also caught my eye. There were also quite a few attendees with really great custom dolls. Almost nothing was left at the Volks stand when I got there but we did pick up these outfits (photos below). We also got the leftover micro bikini for Towa. Tomorrow is last day for us in Barcelona. Since I didn't win the lottery for the tan Baby The Stars Shine Bright SD we'll buy some figures in Arc Triomf instead. I also found a new otaku/kawaii goods mall area off La Rambla. Prayer Girl has been on my want list for a very long time. I was half expecting Volks to bring dozens of unsold Ciels to the event. She's such an underrated DD. 2 My Dollfie doll family December 2024 😊. Towa believes they are 34 in number (and Sakura Miku is on the way).

I wonder what the reason was (breaching the max* import value? badly described goods?), and hopefully they can get that stock back. * For our non-European readers: Airports in Europe usually have a maximum value for goods people import by bringing them with them on the plane, above which a full customs declaration has to be made and taxes have to be paid. Volks could likely have avoided that problem if they had a EU office. Edited yesterday at 05:58 AM by Kemonomimicry

Volks could likely have avoided that problem if they had a EU office. I'm not sure what happened. I believe they shipped them to here using DHL. Maybe they just dispatched them in the same way as they dispatch regular orders. This is pure speculation though. They did say that they could subsequently ship them free of taxes to anywhere in the EU. I guess I could have been hit with a massive import surcharge if I had won one. My girls look all ready to enjoy their last day in Barcelona. The overnight stay in doll hospital seems to have done them the world of good. My Dollfie doll family December 2024 😊. Parcel kidnaps by customs in Spain are so common and nerve wrecking. Parcel is in Barcelona being ignored. Maybe this week they'll ship it to the organisers and then they ship to the winners. I can't wait to pick mine and I prefer them shipping to my home than travelling with her in the plane inside a suitcase (my flight back home was yesterday at 6am). I was wondering if I would even be able to fit a SD in my suitcase. I bought some small anime figures today and there's not much room left for anything else. Fortunately we're well under the weight limit. It's been an amazing week. Again, there's Dolly Day Green in 2027 if anyone wants an amazing doll-themed vacation. I like to think man with beautiful big eyed doll is just one of the many memorable sights for the score of tourists that have been here this week. I don't know if Volks or any of the other attendees took their dolls out much. They might not have beaten my 1305 photos and 78 videos. It will take most of the Autumn to turn them into Insta Reels. I blew our remaining Euros on a designer bag for Ciel. Hana's just so happy with her new grown up outfit so she didn't want anything else. Ciel and I had a crazy last day around La Rambla and the surrounds. We paid 1 euro and got a McTowel from McDonalds. Strangely this is the first time I've ever been to the double arches in Spain. It was a pretty decent meal too. Ciel then overwhelmed the guy in the Rubik cube shop and he managed to smash one on the floor. What was even worse was they weren't truly DD sized so we didn't buy one in the end. It rained for a time so we did get to use the parasol after all. Then it got hot but we walked all the way to Arc Triomf to pick up the anime figures we had our eye on. They gave us a 2.5 Ririsa freebie which was really cool. Ciel had a horrible stain on her bodysuit but luckily it just rubbed off. The pair will go to doll hospital when we get home, although neither look too bad now really.
