nsfw Newbie MJD Raising Project

Hello! A little while ago I made the decision I wanted to have an MJD project alongside my BJD project. I want to shell my two characters- Licot and Terry- as AP with DDH ^^. This is so I can have Licot and Terry interact with each other easily without there being too extreme of a scale difference. I was inspired by http://xhslink.com/a/rVaE5bVlQzk5 , who posts pictures of their DDH/AP hybrids. I really like the idea of customizing a DDH as well, since I have peculiar taste.

Right now I just have the beginnings of Terry, as well as Licot’s head. I’m planning on buying an AP I for Licot, but the recent tariffs on CN and HK parcels worries me about buying from FaithZ. However FaithZ usually buys extra dolls for after the preorder window closes, so I am hoping to buy Pink Drops Mieri around April.

Here’s some pictures of Terry so far:

She’s a Pink Drops Mikuru H-type body in Whitey, with the DDH-10 head in Semi-White. I’m slowly amassing AZO2 and other clothes for her. I have her wig on the way! And some shoes… socks… Here she is wearing Azone gym clothes.Here she is wearing Azone sukumizu. She now has H2 hip, but I accidentally bought tan 😭. I need to buy her a skin cover so she can wear dark clothes.

I’m thinking of buying her C legs and maybe a C lower torso as well, so she appears a little thinner.

I got a piece I was looking for a lot! It’s AP compatible thigh high socks with black and red pattern ^^. I believe they are Azone? 

She also got a new underwear set, instead of having to borrow Licot’s. But I plan for her to have black underwear in the future. 

I also want to create mini character dakimakuras for my dolls, so I started rendering Terry’s. 

I cut and styled Terry’s wig, but after checking how it looked I realized it was a little too long ><. However it’s a lot closer than being bald! I think my heat pen arrives tomorrow, but I probably won’t be able to do any mods until Sunday.

Do you draw all your own art? It looks incredible! I also love this hybrid, it's so cute!

Thank you ^^. I draw all of the art I posted so far. My interest in BJDs and MJDs stems from my interest in anime art and figures.

I have made some progress on my MJD projects ^^. I now have 3 AP girls- These are Terry (H/C/C) Suica (C/H/H) and Licot (I). 
Now I want to focus on improving these 3 girl’s bodies, I’m going to purchase the improved Corvus AP frames and OB-GGR wrists when I can get them. Suica will also be getting the XXL OB bust from Doll-Oppai on Booth.

I also plan on getting one more doll, this will be a doll used for cosplay ^^. I want to try ordering from Mandarake next time since I’d heard it was the best option.

Here is Licot in a swimsuit! I should get her some sandals.

Terry is missing her chest now- I’m trading it for an H2 chest. And I’d cracked her pelvis but I’ve replaced it ^^. And learned how to insert the legs correctly.

I have some stuff sitting at Buyee- I’ll probably send it out soon ^^. It includes C3 hips for Terry. The I body doesn’t have extreme posing hips, so I’ll buy Licot an H2 hip.

WOAH, I didn't realize just how great DD heads could look on AP bodies. Something about the cute face meshes so well with the fluid, curvy body shape! I'm taking notes..!

The skin tones don't seem too crazy different either, which is good. Looks like it'll be as easy as a little color-matching via faceup.

I think they look really good too, especially in real life ^^. One thing I like is the different body types. Here’s a bad picture of my 3, and the I body with it’s original head ^^. Notably the H body in the center has a tan H2 hip so it wouldn’t match, and the C body vinyl is yellowed (12 years old) but I’ll probably fix that eventually ^^. But Whitey and SW match alright without blushing.

I do not unfortunately, it’s a 2 piece I think for MDD from DollyTeria. I don’t think it had any information on the maker ><.

New official AP outfit ^^. I got these pieces from Jiwu Bookstore, they ship to US and have Quarantotto store items. The APs they take orders for are closer to FaithZ price but they do take orders for AP parts when there is a drop (I know FaithZ doesn’t stock Quarantotto outfits or AP body parts often). I wanted to get the illustration socks but they sold out 😭. 

This outfit isn’t for Licot (and the crop top is super tight on I arms) but she’s the only girl put together right now.

No worries! It looks really good on her! I find that sleeveless MDD stuff works decently on AP, usually stuff with long sleeves ends up too short. Your art and characters are very beautiful, I look forward to seeing the evolution of your dolls
