Wonderously_Strange Posted March 29 Hi everyone! I've been following the releases of the new 2.0 bodies, and I'm really curious about what's new on the DDS 2.0. I know that the DD 2.0 had newly sculpted bust and waist pieces, so I'm wondering if the same is true for the DDS 2.0! I saw that the DD 2.0 removed the odd waist flaps of the DD3 sculpts (which were also used with the F³ frame), as well as made all the busts into the "flat" version, and shortened and thinned the neck. Is this also true for the DDS 2.0? I'd been waiting for someone to share photos of Takina or Chisato with an older DDS, but since I haven't seen any yet, I figured I'd ask! I hope Dynamite and the boys aren't too far behind. I'd love to see them get 2.0s soon! Thanks again! - Cole

Kemonomimicry Posted March 29 One thing I noticed when taking apart my DD 2.0 body to install an aftermarket neck peg today, is that the peg that connects the upper body with the lower body now has two ridges molded into it allowing owners to shorten their doll by 0.5 cm steps by cutting off bits of the peg. I was just thinking about this. The neck peg has been changed for 2.0, so I was wondering if the change lowered the chance of head cracks? (I guess not since people are still changing it out😂)

Would this affect the waist measurement (circumference) much? I wonder how the ratio of torso length to leg length would look afterwards 🤔 ☆⋅⋆ ───FIND ME ON─── ⋆⋅☆ DoA | Twitter | Instagram ☆⋅⋆ ────── ⋆⋅☆

I think the narrowest part of the waist may end up a little wider, but not much. I thought the body looked a bit strange, with the torso too far up the waist, so when I come to dressing this doll (once I find some suitable underwear) in the outfit I have for her I might shorten her a bit.

If you do decide to shorten her, do you mind sharing a before and after photo of the body? I'd love to see how the torso/leg ratio looks with the shorter torso. ☆⋅⋆ ───FIND ME ON─── ⋆⋅☆ DoA | Twitter | Instagram ☆⋅⋆ ────── ⋆⋅☆
