Story Line Dead.

The fruit tray looks so delicious. I wonder why sour cream and onion chips end up being a rare commodity. That iPad looks so cool. I was getting worried something might happen to it, but luckily it was safe in the end. I like Rin's outfit. I think red looks great on her. It looks like a fun and casual style. Sakura looks great in matching light purple. It is nice with her hair. Saber's outfit is such a cute style. Asuka is always uniquely and nicely dressed. The shot of her looking down is just so sad. I am glad things are settled on the porn star dispute. Maybe they will all become a little closer. OK, not Rin and Asuka getting close. But Saber might get close to Rin (well to steal some chips). I just wanted to say again how lovely Asuka's hair color is. You can see it nicely in these photos.

I'm glad to see another story from you Scripple! It's definitely nice to see that things with the whole "Porn Star" term will now disappear so long as Rin doesn't try to bring up Asuka's embarrassing moment ^^;;

 

Everyone's outfits were great! All of them were wearing their colors I especially love how Saber's pajamas match the blue ribbon in her hair Really loved seeing all three girls all snuggled together while watching Eva, they were just adorable.

 

And yes Asuka looked so sad with her head hung down, poor girl -hugs-

Saber loves and powers through most foods, but sour cream and onion chips are one of Rin's favorites, so she hides them away as soon as they come in. I believe she intentionally brought them out this time to taunt Saber after Saber ordered her to bring snacks.

 

I'm sure Yukino will be quite relieved to get her iPad back in one piece. I've never seen her stand up to Saber like that before.

 

Asuka was pretty sad when that part of her past came to light, she's not so proud of it. Hopefully some good will come of all this, but I'll settle for the end of the whole porn star thing.

Saber does indeed devour them with passion, but she doesn't get the chance much these days as Rin hides them upon arrival, as they're also one of Rin's favorites.

I'm also glad that the whole porn star thing is over. It was causing a surprising amount of tension in the house. It seemed to really upset Saber quite a bit. Hopefully Rin doesn't blow it.

Well, Asuka likes red too, another source of conflict between her and Rin. But fortunately she seems rather more fond of black these days. Thanks on the snuggling picture, I liked how that one turned out myself.

 

And I'll pass your hugs on to poor Asuka. She should have taken Saber's original offer so Saber didn't have to do this research. Maybe Asuka will know better next time.

I loved the little touches, like Saber cuddling her cake and the girls all watching TV together. I also really loved their outfits, it seems that Rin and Asuka both have new things? And Saber must have really been into Evangelion, she has the same sushi and dumplings for 3 frames, which is probably a record for her

There's only one thing bugging me: I don't remember that scene with Asuka and Kaji! Was it from Rebuid of Evangelion? I actually have not seen that one, since it's out of print and hard to find, plus, I heard it just recapped the show. Seems like I missed something juicy! Maybe an Eva rewatch is in order . . .

 

I know it's unlikely that Rin will soften to Asuka, but maybe seeing her childhood traumas will soften her . . . or more likely, just be more ammunition.

She was very into it. She was researching an opponent. It's very serious business!

Sadly it will take more than this to bring peace between Rin and Asuka, but hopefully this starts to smooth things out between Asuka and Saber and Sakura.

Yeah, it's been on the list, I've just been slow. The scene in question certainly wasn't Asuka's finest hour.

While Saber is certainly enjoying her second chance at life she's still got the spirit of a warrior king and won't stand for repeated insults to her honor. So she had to put a stop to Asuka's bad deeds in an acceptable fashion. (She knows I'd disapprove of just physical violence.)

 

But she takes issue with your term of blackmail. She says it was a perfectly upfront act of war. There was no subterfuge. She did not hide her intentions nor behave underhanded in anyway. She merely exposed a weakness and made it clear that actions have consequences. Then offered a truce on reasonable terms which she was happy to see Asuka accept.

 

She would appreciate it if you would retract your accusation of blackmail.

Thanks very much, I'm glad you enjoy the stories. As to Rin and Asuka I'm not sure what I was thinking when I invited Asuka to join the household. I should have known two tsunderes like that wouldn't mesh well. It's almost like I was asking for some drama.

 

Rin is way too interested in Shinji! I think it was all Unit-01's doing, Rin!

 

Haha, as Rin explained over on figure.fm, she's smitten with Shinji's power to create detailed artificial worlds, not Shinji. She says otherwise he's a complete loser and that she suspects he's not even aware of what he's doing. A rank amateur with a special talent, in other words a total waste. Although she says you may be on to something regarding Unit 01 being the true source of power. That makes a lot more sense than some loser like Shinji.

 

I actually don't recall this exact scene either... I guess I need to rewatch Death and Rebirth or the extended episodes again...

 

Rin and Sakura took some liberties in their reenactment, but I'd say the captured the essence of the scene. It's when Kaji and Asuka are lying on the deck of the aircraft carrier. I believe it's in the first extended episode, no idea if it's in Death and Rebirth or not.

Agreed on the chip flavor and Asuka not getting killed. Not sure I'm looking forward to more of the feud though, I'm all about peace and happiness around here you know?
