How to Tie Haruhi's Hair Ribbon?

Does anyone with (or without) an actual DD Suzumiya Haruhi know how to tie her hair ribbon? Is it affixed to her original wig or do you have to tie it yourself? Our gang are figuring out who should go to the next anime event and we're thinking Haruhi would be a good one. The 20th anniversary can't be too far away either. Maybe we'll wait for that.

I'm not sure if we have a good Haruhi wig, so this was our alternative interpretation:

Thanks - that's a really useful photo. I don't know if we really have a Haruhi wig anyway but somebody might go as Mikuru because we do have her wig.

I was at Hyper Japan at the weekend and didn't see any Haruhi's (except for the Haruhi car). I think I'll take either Megumin or Ai Hoshino to the next event because I saw a few humans cosplaying these characters.
