TheL1985 Posted November 14 I'd only put the jewelry on for a photoshoot, unless you know for a fact that it's sterling or gold-plated. If it gets moist--which can happen easily if you live in a humid area--other metals can turn green. Barbies from the 60s often have green ear stains from the cheap metal earrings they came with. And those stains can spread from the earlobe...I don't know how long ago those stains got there, but for some dolls to have them on the cheeks and all over the year, they must have been spreading for decades.
