Retrobrite Fresh DDH to match SWS?

Hello! There’s a head I’d like to purchase, but it’s only available in Fresh and I need it in SW. Would retrobriting it have any side effects? Or would it even work?

Retrobrighting is a process for clearing up yellowing to white plastics and vinyls.  It can't change the color of something from one thing to another, it only reverses the effects of the yellowing to something.  So if something wasn't SWS to begin with, it's not going to change it to Fresh or something else.  Also, if there is no discoloration to begin with then nothing is going to happen or change with the vinyl.

Dyeing, painting or bleaching is the only way I know of to actually change the color of vinyl or plastic parts.  Others here may know of something else but for what you are asking about, the answer is no, retrobrighting will not change a fresh colored head to a SWS colored head.

I've had several heads painted to match bodies by my face up artist and those worked out well.  But you would need an airbrush to make it look right.
