Cryptid Posted September 16 I've been collecting BJDs for a couple years now, but only recently finally gave in to my curiosity about vinyl dolls. So I've now added a mini dollfie dream to my collection, and decided to go hard mode by getting the DDH-27 head and working on the faceup myself. (I was inspired by seeing other people's Transformers-inspired dolls, and so am real picky about colors/expression/etc.) I'm looking forward to getting her all finished up and taking plenty of pictures, and using the lighter weight of vinyls to my advantage to take her on photo outings. And indulging in so many little outfits. I'm gonna need a tutorial on making a doll-sized wardrobe...
Giallo_Gatta Posted September 17 Welcome! I believe I saw your post about this in the DoA MDD thread. There's certainly a lot of resources and information here, as well as sources of inspiration, so I'm sure you'll soon feel right at home!
Cryptid Posted September 18 Yep, that was my post! I expect that I'll be doing some cross-posting between and there.
Xiongmao Posted Friday at 03:50 PM My Hana says MDD are the coolest dolls on the planet. Here she is meeting the Volks crew. After this she fell flat on her face. At least with vinyl dolls they're pretty tough and well suited for going on ootings. Staining is a major issue though when travelling around in tote bags. Hana still managed to get stained, even while wearing this white outfit! My Dollfie doll family December 2024 😊. Instagram: kawaiidolls.tv
