most-Kasane-Teto-fan Posted June 6 Playing with Alpha masks you could definitely do some next level stuff with using different masks and stuff but I'm not smart enough to figure that out

I especially like the star design. I'm not sure what you mean with "using different masks"? At least at this point, the program will apply the same mask to all photos. If you want to combine some photos with different masks (e.g Miku with stars and the Meikos with hearts) you'll have to : Do an "Export Individual" of the star design Back up the resulting images (e.g. Star-Miku, and the Star-Meikos) Change to the heart design and do another "Export Individual" Back up those resulting images too (e.g. Heart-Miku and the Heart-Meikos) Copy (or move) the backed up images you want to use into the working directory (e.g. the Star-Miku an and the Heart-Meikos - Heart-Miku and the Star-Meikos will go unused) Run the program again with "Use transparency from source image" selected to stitch the images with the different masks together You can apply the text layers either in steps 1. and 3. or later in step 6. - the result should effectively look the same. Alternatively, you can apply the text layers in steps 1. and 3. and then use step 6. to apply two additional text layers on top. If you instead want to apply two masks to the same photo (e.g. the cloud pattern combined with the stars), it's probably best to combine them into a new single mask with another image editing program like GIMP. Angelpaws Posted June 9 This program is amazing !! Took a bit for me to figure out how things work but I eventually got the gist of it, and now I have two cute signatures of my girls ❤️

Took a bit for me to figure out how things work but I eventually got the gist of it, and now I have two cute signatures of my girls ❤️ The result looks lovely! It appears, especially the custom alpha map is pretty popular. 😁 And people are coming up with some cool alpha map designs indeed. On a different note, I'm working on an update with a couple more QOL improvements. - It shouldn't be too long before it gets released. As part of this I'm also planning to adjust the color scheme of dark mode a bit. A big gripe I have with many dark modes is that they only really turn the background dark and the text white. If a site/program has many colorful icons or buttons (which looks fine in light mode), it looks like a lit up Christmas tree in dark mode. Definitely not "dark" or easy on the eyes. Many dark mode sites would probably look better with darkened or desaturated icons/buttons. Most UI frameworks (including NiceGUI/Quasar that I'm using here) apparently don't support a different color scheme for dark mode natively, so I guess that's why It's not that common? Looking into it a bit, it's still not too difficult to put something together to make it work. So I played around with the color scheme a bit and would like to ask you people for your opinion. This is light mode ("inspired" 😉 by the forum color scheme), it remains unchanged: This is dark mode so far (again "inspired" by the forum colors), with the button colors etc. the same as light mode: This is the new dark mode with anything colorful darkened: It certainly looks more "dark" this way, even though the color scheme feels less unique. Which one do you think looks better? Do you generally prefer light mode or dark mode? 3 Photo Story - Photo Thread - make your own signature like this
froggubi Posted June 14 I can't update my own signature yet but here's my first attempt at my own signature picture! I couldn't figure out the alpha mask thing at all, so I just used one of the default shapes. I'm excited to play around with this more in the future though! @most-Kasane-Teto-fan Could you share the heart and star masks you used? They're so cute! froggubi Posted June 14 @most-Kasane-Teto-fan Thank you! I figured out how to import them, I just have no idea how to make them.

Alpha masks are greyscale images with white being completely visible and black being completely transparent. I did try to do an example here idk if it's clear or not LOL. basically on a 1000x1000 pixel size canvas I imported a random image (le snivy) as our frame, the above is greyscale and below is completely B/W. The Rodrick you see is the result after importing it to signature maker using the Snivy as an alpha mask, the top has different levels of transparency causing Rodrick to be slightly obscured by grey areas of the snivy but as for the bottom image rodrick is completely visible in snivy's outline. Using your photo editing program of choice you could also import a image and edit the saturation/brightness to your liking, otherwise just drawing in white on a black background will work well too! 1
froggubi Posted June 14 @most-Kasane-Teto-fan THE RODRICK HAS ME ON THE FLOORRRRR 🤣 This makes sense though! Thank you so much!

Perhaps also pay attention that it doesn't accidentally trigger a DDOS or other abusive usage protection. On 6/2/2026 at 10:05 AM, Tierparkzone said: From what I could gather from the forum's documentation, there's no API auth method available that solely works with user credentials. I managed to come up with a workflow that doesn't require the admin to prepare any API keys or the users to provide any login info to the program: For the doll directory import I need to know the links to a specific user's doll directory entries. These are conveniently listed on the user's profile page, which is accessible to the user (and usually all other forum members), but not accessible to the public requests of the program. However, if the user directly provides the contents of the profile page to the program, it's trivial to pull out just the doll directory links. So far, it works pretty well: DDsiggen Features S.mp4 This will be included in the newest version (which is currently in final testing). If everything goes well, I should be able to release it over the weekend. Photo Story - Photo Thread - make your own signature like this

Tierparkzone Posted June 28 Okay, everyone! Version 3.17 is now available on GitHub. Apart from the new way to create your "doll_directory.txt" (as described above), we also have a few new quality of life features: You can now save the settings for text layers (selected fonts, sizes, colors, outlines, shadows, glow effects, text alignment, layer order) into a file and then reload them later. If you came up with a cool text design, this will make it easy to reuse it again. This will not save any actual photos or text entries, etc. - curate those through the photos you put into the working directory and through whatever you enter into "names.txt" and "epithets.txt". There's also been a few fixes when cropping photos, that should now make crops more intuitive and reproducible. 1 Photo Story - Photo Thread - make your own signature like this
