most-Kasane-Teto-fan Posted November 13 Got these girls for my birthday and it got me thinking about how I got into to dolls to begin with and it was most likely through Monster high. does anyone have a similar story with HM or other fashion dolls?
beetleleetle Posted November 13 So far I only have 4 monster high dolls! Sadly only one old version and the rest the newer versions! I’m currently on the hunt for the elivira doll!!
TheL1985 Posted November 13 I bought...way too many MH dolls about a decade ago. I'm probably going to sell most of them when I can, just so that I have a reasonable collection to display. But yes, I discovered BJDs and vinyl collectors' dolls on the old Monster High Arena forums.
Tam_I_am Posted Saturday at 03:59 AM I've got some Monsters. They're all the old ones. One's an Inner Monster that I used to make an OC with. I used to love those crazy shoes... the exact polar opposite to anything I can wear! lol

Giallo_Gatta Posted Monday at 03:32 PM I was obsessed with Monster High as a kid- it was the first time my weird interests were anywhere near popular or mainstream. I think by the time I stopped buying dolls (temporarily of course) I had between 40 and 50 of them, and I actually still have almost all of them, though most are just in storage in my garage atm. My favorites, some from my childhood and some I bought as an adult, are on display in my room. But yeah, I'll always love Monster High, it was a huge part of my childhood and I'm grateful for that, as cheesy as it may sound. The dolls definitely opened me up to the idea of dolls as art in addition to playthings, what with their intricate details and references to the monsters' lore, not to mention fun fashions! And yes, the shoes! Always killer.
