Pierrot Posted January 11 I have a small-ish Barbie collection of about 20 dolls currently. I'm an in box collector, have a mix of old and new dolls, but I don't have any silkstones. I really enjoy the Dolls of the World line and dolls that have cultural and/or historical clothing, but I don't limit myself to only buying dolls that fit in those categories. I'm not the biggest Barbie fan, but I've been lucky enough to obtain most of my collection in person via secondhand stores and they've just been impossible to pass up. My favorite doll in my collection is probably my Gustav Klimt barbie! She was the Barbie that kicked doll collecting as an adult for me; I saw her for at a local secondhand store for a great price, and even though I didn't have any other dolls at the time, I knew I had to have her.
