2026 Doll Plans

I'm a bit late, but here's my goals.

 

• Get Sakura Miku DD
• Get Kagamine Rin & Len DD
• Get Alisaie and Alphinaud DDS
• Get an DD base body to make one of my ocs in DD format

I'm changing my mind from what I had originally posted in January lol I think this might be the year I spring for a Dollfie. I have a lot to figure out before I make any final decisions though, including making sure that this is something I want to pursue.

I like the DDP size the most, but something about DDS Chikage has really charmed me and I'm excited for when she'll restock on Volks US. My ultimate preference would be to do DC via proxy, and that was the only way I could see myself owning a Dollfie originally, but with the US being a mess recently, I'm not sure how viable of an option this is currently. I've been incredibly tempted lately by a listing I saw of someone selling a used Chikage, so I'm starting to wonder if I should just bite the bullet and compromise with a DDS standard model that I really like. I'm also starting to hope I'll get lucky though and come across a D'coord I really like and could opt for that instead, but this option comes with its own pros and cons. Nonetheless, my feelings towards Dollfies are changing and I think I might end up with my own soon lol

If you did Dream Choice, which head, makeup and skin colour would you go for?

If I were to pick right now, I basically just want my own version of this doll, which is DDH-24 with, I think, the M02 faceup and flesh skintone. I know it'd be more worthwhile to pick mostly Dream Choice exclusive options and really puzzle piece a doll together, but I really like the specific combo this doll has. I'd maybe buy one or two of the exclusive wigs just so I could change her hair up, but ever since I first saw this doll a few months ago, she's been my ideal dollfie. I still like her more than Chikage, but I think Chikage might be the more practical choice.

Update to my goals: DD and Corvus Corax purchased, with the Dollfie arriving last night! 

♥Maple♥ is my First DD (DD Standard Himari) and very likely to be my Final Jumbo♥Hunnie as i an now Out of Display Space.

from here on i'll be Concentrating on Outfits, Accessories and Care items for her from VUSA and other sources.

My other Girls all have their Forever Outfits... which leaves Maple to be my Designated Dress-Up ♥ Darling~

2026-specific doll plan is to own any vinyl doll, which I am hoping could be a DD Kos-mos, but more likely I will just get a customized DD-06 and flesh her character out along the way ☺️ Going to see if I can get the ball rolling in May!

So, update:

• Actual character DD obtained (actually, two of them)
• I also want to pick up a Himari
• Besides the 05 and 09 head I also need a 27 head, and three others (of which one hopefully will soon be in the mail)
• Azone bodies are still wanted
• Get bodies to complete my floating heads

A bit late for this 😅. I want to try not getting any more new dolls this year(lol), especially impulsively, and I want to pamper and spoil the girls i already have instead
My plans for 2026 are:
-Getting a mochi-ashi 2.0 body for my floating head - DONE
-Getting tan wrist frames (I love swapping hands for pics, and I don't like heating them up constantly) and an SS/S bust for my DD through a proxy LACK OF WRISTS RESOLVED (modded for easier swapping) Still want a small bust though
-Maybe getting a silicone bust from Imoneko
-Hopefully getting a slot for a custom faceup from Nina's dolls (that would be a dream come true tbh 🙏)
-Upgrading hands and feet on my AZO2 with GGR parts  DONE!
-try doing simple manicures for my dolls
-try sewing some simple doll clothes together with my mum
-getting more clothes, wigs and eyes, styling my dolls more and taking more pics
-taking pics outside!
-Not neglecting my imomo, practice doing faceups on spare heads for her
Even though i said i'm trying not to get any new dolls, I'll make an exception for:
-SW DDdy 2.0 if it drops this year (it's just too beautiful ugh)
-Anthy if I can find her for a decent price or in mint condition (a girl can dream lol)
Update:
-I caved and now have one more floating head that needs a body...
-DDdy Tsukina was announced, might get her once I see more pics

I want to finish building my girl this year. She needs a body, her eyes, and an outfit still. I finally found a wig that I really like for her.

● Get either a Dollfie Dream or the new Corvus Corax unit 2. 

● Faceup for MNF (take two lol)

Further update:

• As mentioned earlier, got not one, but two character dolls: Sakura Amamiya and Ranko Kanzaki (+ all her outfits + some more that suit her). That leaves one character doll on my wish list (Sakura Shinguji).
• Got 09 & 27 SW heads, plus a custom flesh 07 head that, together with some other bits, has resulted in an almost completed doll (just need suitable shoes). I still need a few heads, especially that 05 SW head (it looks like the most suitable head for a cosplay-wearing doll - closest to original character art). OTOH, after writing out the heads and bodies I actually have, I have too many heads suitable for MDDs.
• Got DDP SW body for a floating head that will become a playmate for Ranko.
• Got the one-to-last part I need for the MDD body I was piecing together (after swapping the torso for a Kakuso torso on a MDD, I figured I could piece together another female MDD from the left-over torso - in retrospect this was not a good idea).

Putting myself into further trouble:

• I bought a silicone bust and thus need an additional SW DDdy.

Remaining TODOs:

• Faceups, faceups, faceups.
• That damn 05 head.
• SW MDD f3 shins.
• Good condition second-hand SW bodies are harder to come by this year on Mandarake. 
• Those Azone bodies - I just need a naked Alice, really.

Still half a year left and now’s the only time I have a decent about of time for doll stuff with being off of uni for the summer.

My Goals:

- Do face ups for my two boys. Where I live has too cold of weather to use sealant for most of the year. Summers are usually pretty hot and dry so I planned to have already started. However, this year the snow stayed until end of April and it has still been regularly under 10C as well as humid from rain 😭. 

- Sew more clothing. The dolls already cost plenty and I can’t afford to buy Volks stuff so I’m putting my hands to use. Mostly just a matter of having enough time to search for fabric, a proper pattern, and sew it.

- Take my boys (or at least one) to a botanical garden for a photoshoot. One of the big gardens in our city has a beautiful Japanese style portion of the garden. I’d love to take some photos of my boys in their kimonos there. 

- Bring my dolls to my local con in August. There’s usually a bjd meetup at my anime convention. Also one of my boys is my fav anime character so I really want him to tag along for one of the days.

- Dolly playdate. Have an outing with my irl doll friend where we bring our dolls somewhere and take photos of them together. 
 

All achievable goals but ughhhh personal life and the weather keeps getting in the way. Looking forward to face ups the most.

So I was finally able to get my hands on... after many years of searching... Cinnamon Kizuna.  So when she comes home, I'm hoping to sew some super cute dresses and stuff for her to celebrate. I've got my Mirai that I adore, and now Kizuna. My collection finally feels right and done after many times selling and re-buying different dolls. I'm so excited, just had to yap about it.

and i Tried out the W-197 Cork Brown VOLKS Wig and Love how it Looks on Her♥

All's Left is to Get her this Fox-Ear Headband that i have Scoped out; at the same time that i Get Her her DDf3 Body Next Month~

midyear doll plans!! i'd really like to give my dollfies some attention, because it's been a while

• sort out who stays and who goes! i'd really like to downsize to just 1, maybe 2??
• of those 1 or 2, one will For Sure be a very beloved oc of mine who i think i may use y'shtola as the base for!
• that will entail: faceup, wig, and some custom ears.....
• clothes shopping :'3 most of my doll outfits right now are from miku releases, and i badly need to expand my wardrobe options

but the biggest plan is really just to get everyone out of storage. i've moved a lot lately and have another move probably next year, and i feel like because of it i haven't been able to give anyone proper attention, and frankly i miss staring at sailor moon

Mid-year updates ahoy!

It's been an unusually damp and humid summer here, so faceups are on the back burner until things dry up a bit. I did order some new MSC, though, as my previous can is still somewhere in the stuff we haven't yet unpacked from our move. I'm ready to start working on my girls again!

I am planning to bring Tsukina home before the end of the year, probably for my birthday and/or Christmas. I also need to get my hands on another Dynamite body so that she and Sasara don't need to share, but that may have to wait until next year (finances pending). These are taking priority over a tan Dream Choice at this time, but that's fine with me. I also think, once these two are done, that I would like to add Himari to be Tsukina's little sister, both loosely based off an imaginary friend/original character from my childhood that I held quite dear for many years.

I did track down a blank 03 head, but I have zero plans for her yet.

I think I'll get into sewing this fall/winter, when it gets a bit cooler. The room my desk/sewing machine are in gets quite warm right now, so I have less than zero desire to spend significant time up there.

And, considering the impending shuttering of Den of Angels, I feel it is worth mentioning that I intend on sending some of my resins for faceups either late this year or early next year, finances permitting. I promised my spouse that I would finish my current dolls before taking on new projects, and gosh darn it, I'm holding to that!

It’s already Q3, but there’s still some time for me to make and accomplish some goals!

1. Complete all face-ups for blank dolls
2. Get bodies for floating heads
3. Reorganize my doll cabinets and storage to better display all dolls
4. Sort and organize doll clothes and shoes to sell anything unneeded
5. Get more SmD props and hands

 

I Ultimately Opted for this Fox-Ear Set for my ♥Maple Yoshinaga♥ (DD Standard Himari)

and it Should be Arriving by Tomorrow~ (8/12/26)

 

 

And my Budget for Sept. is Pretty Much Going to be Blown Between the AmiAmi PO Assortment for that month

and Kureha's Long-Demurred DDSf3 2.0 Body Upgrade...
