I’m Schnee! I just recently came back into the hobby. Although I was previously mostly interested in resin dolls, I always looked at Dollfie dreams with interest ; I enjoyed looking at the cute “Collaboration“ Volks fullsets for sure! I always enjoyed their delicate craftsmanship and beauty.

However, due to DD’s high prices, I always thought those dolls were something I wouldn’t ever be able to afford, especially my grail, Snow Miku. She was way too expensive for me to justify spending so much on just one doll. 

Fast forward to today! After finally finishing something I worked on for a few years, I truly wanted to treat myself with a doll I always wanted. After I realised the yen value plummeted compared to my currency, I decided it was finally time to search for my grail. After finding how to buy something in Japan thanks to proxies, I was able to find her on Mercari! 

Now I just have to wait for her, and her bodysuit to arrive! I’m glad to have found this forum, otherwise she would have gotten worse stains, for sure, as I didn’t know vinyl doll can even get stained…

I’m happy to be a part of the vinyl doll community 😄 I can’t wait to share pictures of her!

Welcome!!! i first Found out about the VOLKS Dollfie back in the mid-2000's. Super Dollfie's Artisan Museum look was Never Really for Me,

but then Anime Styled/Anime-Tie-in Dollfie Dreams came along, and Really got my Attention.

AZONE/OBITSU Girls Also Grabbed me around the Early/Mid-2010's, but all of these were well beyond my Means at the time.

Come Late-2024, and suddenly i have my very First Large-Scale (1/4) Anime-style Doll, An IMOMODOLL "Mayoko"

early-2025 brought me my First 1/3 Girl, an AZONE Happiness Clover "Kureha Mihagi"

to be closely Followed by a Happiness Clover "Yukari Sasamori" and, some months later, an AZONE Iris Collect "Milene"

Finally, Just a Couple of Months Back, came my First Dollfie Dream;

A Former Owner's Custom DDS Body/DDH-08 Headed Girl that i Named "Miyuki Hanabishi"

To Summarize; in the span of 20 Years i went from having 11 1/6 Anime Dolls

to having them Plus two AZONEs, a Custom IMOMODOLL/OBITSU 50 Hybrid and a Custom Dollfie Dream!!!

It has Been a LONG Journey... But a Truly Rewarding one. I Wish you All of the Fortune in your Own~

Welcome! Your backstory is one shared by many here, including myself. The feeling of owning one of these dolls can feel like a pipe dream, but that just makes it feel even better when that dream comes true, right?
