Off-topic dolls do need to follow the guidelines regarding acceptable content, but "Other" was added to accommodate BJDs. We don't allow content focused on Barbie, American Girl, or other dolls aimed at young children. We have nothing against Barbie, but the site has some content of an adult nature, and we have a concern that content focused on those dolls might draw kids to a site with images inappropriate for their age. The occasional image of vinyl dolls with other dolls is fine, but the vinyl doll has to be the main focus. “Empty wallets, full hearts.” That’s probably an apt description for the effects of DD addiction.
