somewheresunbear Posted Monday at 05:48 AM Hello everyone! I’m fairly new to the world of vinyl dolls but I’ve been collecting resin bjds (and blythes) since 2016. As of now, I have one vinyl doll at home, an Imomo Miko. Lately, though, I’ve been really intrigued by Dollfie Dreams. Through a series of coincidences, I began looking at yahoo auctions for custom heads and I have decided that I have to have some! I went ahead and ordered some dream choice via proxy) so I could get the semi-white bodies before the season for that is over. My plans are to have a boy for sure, so I got a DDboy and I also got an MDD asexual body for I’m not sure what gender head lol. For now I’ll be sitting on yahoo auctions until someone strikes my fancy. In the meantime, I’m going to start looking for clothes and accessories. Giallo_Gatta Posted Monday at 02:30 PM Welcome! Imomodolls are really cute, but I have to say, DDs are much higher quality when it comes to construction and ease of handling. You can put Imomo heads on MDD bodies, tho, (and vice versa) just in case you don't find a Volks head you want for your MDD of indeterminate gender! Also, let me just say that I love your username. They are cute, but believe me, even without the comparison, I was not super happy with the quality of the imomo body. It was my first vinyl so I was kinda like ??? is this how it is, but I’ve heard around that those sculpts are just not very good quality. As a result, I don’t handle my imomo much, she just remains on display in a stand. I’m looking forward to the quality upgrade with dollfie dream! Also, thank you!
