OwlishBree Posted Thursday at 05:31 PM I read a comment the other day that said the new 2.0 bodies are pinker and don’t match older heads/parts. Is this true? If so, is it both Flesh and SW? I was thinking of buying a new DDS 2.0 body and then getting a separate pre-owned head, but want to make sure it will match. Also, will a “Normal Skin” head from 2019 match new 2.0 Flesh? Your expertise is appreciated as always!
Tierparkzone Posted 23 hours ago To my knowledge, Volks hasn't changed their skin colors in a long while. Theres always some variation between batches but that's usually just visible when viewed right next to each other (e.g. buying a new bust part and it can be a bit lighter or darker). My MDD 2.0s have effectively the same colors as my DD f3s - both in flesh and SW. I think they changed their vinyl formula a bit when moving from DDIII to f3 since the newer releases seem less prone to yellowing - but the base color is still similar enough that it's within their regular variation. Especially for heads that shouldn't be a big issue: With the ridge of the chin and the shadow cast by the head onto the neck, you can get away with a good amount of color mismatch between head and body before it becomes noticable. 2 Photo Story - Photo Thread - make your own signature like this

Great explanation for a newbie! Thank you! 😊
