First MDD :)

 

Any suggestions for names or tips for anything like buying parts/ changing eyes? OWO

 

I've Changed/Readjusted the Eyes on All of my Dollfie Dreams to date... and also on the AZONE and IMOMODOLL girls i have that have Inset Eyes.

I Use BOSTIK BLU-TACK to Mount and Hold the eyes on all of them. a lot of other Doll Hobbyists opt for white "Poster Tak"

but that stuff tends to Dry out and go Crumbly... which BLU-TACK does not.

Still Others out there have been using BLU-TACK on Eyes for a Decade at a time or more,

so there is indeed Testimonial Proof that BLU-TACK is Safe and Stable for use with Vinyl Dolls...

Hey, I don't think you have picture privileges yet, so unfortunately we can't see your girl (or boy?) yet. 😟

However, IIRC, posting the photos first to a photo-specific sharing platform like Flickr and then posting the link allows you to bypass this restriction. If you'd prefer not to bother with that, I think it's thirty posts before that ability opens up. 

(It's nothing personal, just to filter out trolls and spambots from among actual doll enthusiasts.)

I can see it. I think the photo restriction is limited to attachments, but it seems like this person did what you suggested (except the photo is hosted on Discord).

Huh, odd. I just see the "spacer.png" thing.

Interesting! - Depending on the device I'm using, I'm getting either the correct image or the spacer.png. 

Right-clicking the spacer links to Discord, where it says "Content no longer available". So the original image was deleted and therefore can't show on the forum anymore. For whomever the image still works, your computer probably has it cached from an earlier visit.

But this one is a case of of the original image being gone, not of a picture privileges issue. - Still would be nice if people could use image hosts that keep the images around for a while and not just for a few days.

Extra hand poses are always a good investment. They give your doll so much more expressivity and posing options.

A small comb and a dust blower are great care items if you don't have those yet.

I see spacer also. I hope people really stop using discord as an image host... I'm sad I miss out on their pics!

Im new to this type of forum posting lol I was confused there wasnt a direct way to upload images for me and I only had discord. I just made a flickr tho so I can share  (Also how do you find the flicker direct image link cuz I had to do some weird shit to get these links 💀) These are update pics now and the previous ones! I changed her outfit and hair hehe oh and I got two different heads but only one body rn 😔

The dirtyblonde with hot pink wig box says Dollce  it also says retail was 4510 yen so thats p awesome that it came with my doll head hehe I got them from mercari jp!

This def helps! I'm not bothered by it haha I appreciate you letting me know bc I was considering making a post asking about it hehe I just made a flickr tho!

I saw some cute custom hands I really want but they said discontinueddd so I'm thinkin about learning how to 3d model and resin print my own 💀

The official Volks hands are a good way to start out. - Especially since they're vinyl and therefore more robust than resin hands.

 Which custom hands were you looking at? I know these two stores make some cute MDD hands:

DollNouveau (I wish they'd make DD sized hands too)

Fashion Tail (Their Booth is currently private. Maybe because they're busy preparing for Tokyo Doll Show? Hopefully it will be back up soon.)

haha yes, doll clothes are a dangerous game but they’re so cute how can anyone resist!
