Pierrot Posted Thursday at 04:25 AM This is genuinely so impressive! Before this post I wouldn't have thought vinyl dolls could even be restored to such an extent. She looks fantastic and the results are definitely worth all the effort. Can't wait to see the new faceup

Gallye Posted Thursday at 07:03 PM Holy gosh, the only time I've seen a doll that gloopy a yellow was when I saw one that had been caught in a house fire! You said she didn't smell of smoke, though, so it probably wasn't that. Anyway, terrific job cleaning her up and getting her back up to par. I look forward to seeing her new face. She starts the movie unkempt, barely hanging on and without hope. By the end of the movie, a stranger's love and care have rescued her. Ohh that's a pretty cool comparison! I like it! Thank you! 18 hours ago, froggubi said: I feel so so bad for her... I'm so glad she's somewhere safe and loving now! Oh, tsunderes are always cute! And I was about to say, that sounds like an expensive one since it must have been limited! That makes it ten times crazier!! And of course! The praise is absolutely deserved, you basically did miracle work fixing her up! I appreciate the kind words. Billy 1 I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop. Before I found out about the Retrobrighting process, I really wouldn't have thought she was salvagable either. But I had already tried it on vinyl dolls with great success so I was pretty sure she would clean up. I'm glad I was right. 😉 14 hours ago, Rubber_Fairy said: Goodness this absolutely warms my heart~ ❤️ Aww, thanks! 7 hours ago, fuzzyl said: Oh the transformation is insane, love how she was saveable even after all that damage! 😍 Thank you! 2 hours ago, Gallye said: Holy gosh, the only time I've seen a doll that gloopy a yellow was when I saw one that had been caught in a house fire! She didn't have any smoke smell to her at all which completely surprised me. She definitely looked like that was the major culprit of the damage. I appreciate the compliments! baldylox Posted Sunday at 06:35 PM As promised, here is Rin after her glow up! A quick reminder of where we've been. I am so happy with how she has turned out. There's no way anyone could tell by looking at her now that she was in such a terrible state before. Huge shout out to Kat in Texas and the supremely talented Eblktty for helping me bring this girl back from, quite literally, the dead. 😉 Billy 12 I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop. SchneeFlockele Posted 20 hours ago This is absolutely insane! Congratulations, it’s amazing to see how she looks brand new right now! If you had showed the end results before her original, pitiful state, I’d not have believed it was the same doll 😳
