TheGardenGnome Posted August 5 I just recently bought Rin and Len (found both for a decent aftermarket price), however I don’t particularly love the default eyes on Rin and Len came with his eyes already changed (and I’d really like to get them matching ones 😥) Does anyone have recommendations for resin animatic eyes? I only specify resin because I love the look of it. All my resin BJDs and Angel Philia wear eyes from Tianbao, unfortunately with the small sizes (and the “realistic” look) I don’t think they’d be flattering for an anime sculpt… I appreciate the help (and pictures are very welcome!)— I’m just so stumped on what would be a good place to buy from (or if anyone knows anyone who does commissions for anime eyes, please also let me know)
battrastard Posted August 5 (edited) I'll recommend Natrume, on Etsy, because they will take commissions, provided you have real good image references. https://www.etsy.com/shop/natrume Some pics of the ones I ordered for Diona: https://flic.kr/p/2stotNK https://flic.kr/p/2stvsaJ https://flic.kr/p/2stosEY (Still don't know why they only post as a link here, haven't had this problem before) Either way, you can see the difference between the resin eyes from Natrume and the plastic ones I ordered at the same time. Last pic is of Diona, just to show how much closer they are to the source material.. Rick. Edited August 5 by battrastard "Madness takes it's toll, Please have exact change!" laponicaa Posted August 8 Hello, I can't recommend anything related to doll eyes, I'm sorry.. I saw that you recently bought a doll, and I just want to ask where you bought dolls, can you tell me, please? I really want to buy kagamine lena, but I can't find it. Volks will probably re-release the Kagamines *eventually* in the next couple years if you’re OK waiting and want retail price. For whatever reason Len is a lot harder to find (especially for a reasonable price) compared to Rin. I didn’t want to spend a small fortune on either of them, so the two I got are from the original release (on the DDIII frame) instead of the reboot. My Len also didn’t come with a box or his default clothes/accessories/eyes/hands (which… I was OK with since I really wanted to dress him in the senbonzakura outfit instead anyway, so it worked out to be a really good deal for me) Best of luck!
