MoiBakaDesu Posted Tuesday at 11:15 AM My turn to do one if these as well, haha. The other week I finally received my all-in box for the these and I wanted to try my hands on a little unboxing and review as well. So to start with, here we have the display box with the 6 regular styles as well as the secret one which came separately. I really like the artwork here, just so cute. I didn't take pictures of all the dolls while unboxing and dressing them, but here are a couple of impressions. Due to it being the all-in box each of them came with two sheets of water decals each, both for the regular faces and the one specific to the doll in 4 color variations, 2 blank heads and eye chips and the unpainted hair parts for each of the dolls. All of them also have a set of option hands and this very nice solid photocard with the artwork of the doll. (Where I have to remember to take pictures of all of them later still.) All of them also come with a head cap, so that you could also give them regular wigs. The inside of the hair parts is fitted with magnets, because each of these little ones comes with ears and accessoires that attach to to them. The bodies are adorable, I love them. They are MJDs and they pose very well and are quite stable. They don't have any special coating, but still have a bit of a velvety feel to them, they really feel like a good blend between PVC and vinyl. I have to praise the quality on these in general, everything is nice and clean and the hair parts all have this ever so slightly glittery shimmer to them, it is really pretty. And here we get to the whole troupe assembled. I'm pretty sure these girls are just named after the fruits (or foods) that are their theming, at least that is what I saw them translated as, so here we have ... you guessed it: Strawberry. As cute as she is, maybe my least favourite of the bunch, just because she is just so overwhelmingly pink. But I love the strawberry-ears and the little wings on the shoes, they are very Card Captor Sakura. Here we have Pudding. Love her to bits. But you probably are aware that I love things that are blue and bunny themed, and especially if it is Tenshi Kaiwai fashion. Aren't all the little details on these dolls great? The transparency in the ears, the little cherry and all the ribbons, and of course the print on the socks. This is Red Apple, shocker, I know. I think she is a mouse? I think the way her fruit is integrated in the hair might be my favourite, it's just so creative. I am a bit afraid of these socks and their stain potential, but out of these only two wear dark clothing, so I think I am okay with two bodies being stained if it does come to it. (Continued in the next post, due to size limit.)
MoiBakaDesu Posted Tuesday at 11:28 AM Here comes Avocado, apparently, which makes sense, I suppose, although she reminds me more of a croissant or pistachio. I think she is a puppy? Her looks are pretty simple, but that tiny belt gave me a bit of struggle to get it buckled well. This is one of my initial favourites (and potential stain victim number two), Mint Choco, the bear. Love the paws and the mismatched eyes. Her scarf has wire in it, so it can be adjusted nicely to stay in place. She is the only one where the ears sometimes fall off if you move her around, because they are quite heavy, but it doesn't bother me. Blueberry, another bunny, I think. Very fluffy and the berries with the cream in the hair are very cute. I like her expression a lot as well, but that can be said about all of these, really. And last but not least, Lemon, the secret one. I don't know what kind of animal she is supposed to be, maybe fox? Anyway, she is very cute and I love the summer feel of her whole design. The details with all the transparent parts in the ears and hair is also super pretty. All in all I can say I don't regret this purchase, I usually only get dolls to mod them into my fav characters, but these little ones just caught my heart right away. Although there will still be modding happening with all these blank parts.
ragnamuffin Posted Tuesday at 01:08 PM Oooh, thanks for the writeup! I keep seeing the artwork/box for these on social media, but hadn’t seen the dolls themselves and was curious. They’re super cute! Make your own signature like this
