Home Town Dolpa Kyoto 9 Collection at Volks US

I really hope I do get the things I put on my list through from KL, it would save me a trip to the shop. Although I could do what I did last time for Tokyo Dolpa 27 and just go the day after to see what's left. I suppose I could pick stuff up for people if it's there and on their list if they want to take their chances with what might be left.

Just got confirmation from KL about the items I've won but it is not even 1/3 of the items I'm interested... Therefore, I will be participated in the click wars, unfortunately.

Ahhh so KL has done sent out the confirmation emails, well that sucks I didn't get anything at all.

Looks like I'll have to head to the store on Saturday and hope I pull a good number for the line outside the store~

 

I really thought I would get at least one thing from KL, goes to show how limited their quantities really were O.O

From what I heard, the dolls are supposed to be arriving at KL this week and then sent out as soon as they can be. So it won't be long for yall now!

 

As for what I wanted, I was lucky enuff to get one of the maid sets I wanted ( the Alice Blue one ) but not both. So I too will be in the Click Wars to try for the Noir Maid set. It really does look like Volks was extremely low on items this time around. Not really sure why but at least the US store and KL got *some* stuff.

 

I hope everyone can get the items they want on Saturday. It would be nice to see!

I was able to get Petite Strawberry Milk Set from KL, finally breaking my losing streak! In a strange turn of events, I ordered an outfit before I even had the girl who could wear it ^_^;

 

Also, I believe Noir Maid and Alice Blue sets are part of the new Standard releases- they eventually get restocked. That's how they're listed on the Japanese site.

I read that before and while that's good to know, I seriously doubt that we will see either of those "in stock" on the Volks US site anytime soon. So I'd rather try for the Noir set now and hopefully get it than wait around for months on end to *maybe* see it show up as "in stock" over here. And I don't want to go thru the International/Japanese site because of the yen/dollar exchange rates now. That and shipping will add up to WAY more than I want to spend. But I get your point about them being standard items tho.... if I happen to lose out on it now, I can always try for one later on, just at a higher price.

 

Also, Rei is rapidly losing her patience with me about this. She wants to induct new members into the Maid Brigade and to do that, they need proper outfits.

That's the one I wanted to get the most! I did not get it, unfortunately... I'm glad someone did though! Congrats!

the blue "Alice" maid set was in stock at the Volks showrooms in Japan when I was there early last month. I did think of you Billy, but with the crappy exchange rate it wasn't really worth it for me to buy a bunch of random stuff knowing that Kyoto 9 would be coming to Volks USA soon.

 

It's too bad you weren't able to get it from Kerbey Lane though >__>

We should definitely be on speakerphone. There's a good chance that I can help you with your conquest for outfits so if we're on the phone that'll make it a lot easier for me to be like "got this for you" so you can concentrate on the other things!!!!

I feel your pain about wanting so many things and having to do the click war. Makes it harder for us compared to those who just want one or two items. We have to move twice as fast to get to the check out.

 

I was so mad about not getting anything through KL I went ahead and tried for the lolita sets on YJA. I know they are going to cost so much more, but I REALLY want those sets. I did manage to secure the Sugar Milk Cookie one, still need to secure the Strawberry Milk one.

 

By getting the lolita sets through YJA all I have to worry about when doing the click war would be both maid sets and the pink and white aprons. I wanted much more from this collection, like the school uniforms and so on, (my list did look yours archangeli =3), but to save time and money I shortened my list greatly to help increase my chances.

Seems I got one item from KL (out of five). So it looks like I too will be joining the click war.

Wow, I didn't think those would be in actual stores seeing as how there seem to be none available over here. Why can't Volks see that the US is a viable market for them? Getting treated like 3rd rate customers is really beginning to grate on my nerves.

 

Thank you for thinking of me on that! You were right tho, the exchanges are terrible for the moment so dishing out a lot of cash for stuff that's cheaper from the US site may not have worked in your favor.

Whoa..... that is one heck of a list! While I know you won't be able to get everything you want, I do hope you can get some of the things you really want from that list.

I'd already gotten the steampunk outfits, so nothing I was planning on going for. Did offer to help a couple people if their KL orders didn't pan out, so will make an attempt for those items.

Yeah, I'm gonna be doing the click war too despite VolksUSA outlandish shipping. Both KL and WLD failed me in getting me the stuff I wanted the most. But I suppose it's not too terrible. There is some stuff I need that's standard Volks stuff anyway. Like headcaps and other such "basics" for the girls I've been unexpectedly getting/ordering this year.

I only entered KL and got nada. Looks like I'm braving the click war too. I'm still trying to decide if I want to try going for both Steam Signal Red and Smooth Lamp Black, or just pass on the black one to increase my odds of nabbing the red.

Sorry guys - we got such low quantities so this was tough. We tried to get as many people as possible at least one item.

 

Regarding DD Lucy & Haruka - dolls arrived late Monday. I am working on my own, Lanie out of town. Yos all packed and first batch of DDs packed. Dolls will mail mail between tomorrow and next Tuesday. Thanks for your patience.

I got nothing from KL either. I think I'm just going to try for the Steam Signal Red instead of that and the maid outfit. I'll try the click war. Not sure if I want to try braving the store.

Aww but if you go to the store we'll see each other! I hope I can get at least one thing in going there, I would be awfully sad to drive all that way and leave empty handed. That and I really can only afford one thing now so if I get a good # I'll be nabbing an apron set! I can always get the Noir Set from International down the line since it is a standard item on there. Would be nice if Volks USA could get those to be regular items in their shop as well~

 

I've never tried to get something via click war because I just know I would end up getting nothing XD I've only gotten a pair of shoes from one of the events, but that was hours after everyone had gotten everything they wanted and it ended up being their last pair I bought
