Hey there!  Nice to see you posting again!  Thank you so much for the kind compliments on my girls!  I didn't know we started collecting at the same time, that's so cool!  I'm sorry you can't have all your dolls out on display, that seems sad.  But I know you're limited on time and space as you said.  Do you rotate them in and out of storage so you can see them all?  I too am a real sucker for helping out needy or broken and unwanted dolls.  It's great to see others do this too!

Yeah, the logistics of taking 200+ dolls anywhere would be crazy!  I wouldn't even want to try and attempt that without a lot of people helping out, otherwise it'd take forever to load and unload them all.  But it's a cool idea!  😉  Since we're only a state apart, maybe we could visit each other sometime?  I'm always up for having people visit me and my girls!  Or I could come up there, whatever works.  Thank you again for all the compliments, we all appreciate them!

Wow, it's been over a year and a half since I updated my family thread.  That's crazy!   

So to fix this situation, I'll be adding girls here over the next few weeks to update things and let people see who else has arrived at my abode.  So here we go!

 

First up for this update is Kori No Ryu or Koryu for short.  She's a little blue dragon girl!

I got her 01 head from a friend for free because it was damaged.  I handed it over to Eblktty to see what she could do.  Of course she did a great job on bringing her back!  I put her on a regular MDD3 body.

I had some pieces I wanted to add to her so she looked more like a dragon girl so those also got fixed up and painted by Eblktty.  The horns and wings are held on with magnets, as is her tail.  The ears are held on with eye putty.

The tail is very cool because it's resin and is strung with a wire inside too.  That makes it nice and posable!

Up next we have a project girl.  She came to me as a modded 08 head with a spare parts DD3 M-bust body that needed repairs.  After getting her fixed up and adding eyes and a wig, I think she turned out really pretty!  Her name is Lyla.

The next 4 girls were all adopted along with 2 others in one big group.  I'm not going to mention where I got them but I will say the previous owner and I are good friends and he wanted me to have these girls.  They weren't cheap but man were they all worth it!  2 of the 6 were duplicates of girls I already had so they were rehomed to friends that I knew would love them and spoil them.  The other 4 are here with me so let's meet them!

First up is one of my most favorite DD girls ever and she's very special because she's the only WS DDdy ever made by Volks!  Yep, it's Christmas Alna!

You could buy a few parts in WS like busts, arms, hands and shins but the bigger DDdy thighs and lower torso were never available in WS for sale separately.  So to get a WS DDdy body, you HAD to get this girl.  So not only is she hard to get but she's beautiful too.

The second girl I was really impressed with was this next custom.  She is a tan DDH16 head D-Accord girl with a silicone bust.  Her name is Takina!

While I liked the face up she came with, it just wasn't my style and I wanted her to have a bit more of a mature and soft look.  So I got Eblktty to redo her.  Here's the before.

The 3rd girl in the lineup was an MDD.  Her name is Himari and she is an SWS DDH22 head on a SWS Mochi Ashi body.

Thank you!  I got the tail at a doll meet years ago.  It has no makers logos or marks on it at all so I have no idea who made it.  It used to be red and black and was not wired.  When Eblktty repainted it, she took it all apart, restrung it and wired it for better posing.

Next is a funny one.  Her name is Rain because not only did she arrive on a day where it was pouring, her attitude is always kind of Meh.

This next girl was one I had wanted for a very long time.  Every time she came up for sale I was either broke or she was too expensive for what I wanted to pay.  Finally, a friend saw her on Mandarake at a good price so I snatched her up.  Say  hello to Haurhi Suzumiya!

Claire is very quiet and a total bookworm.  She's always reading and keeps to herself and the other quiet girls.  I have her on a normal cocoa Smartdoll body now but if she needs to be a hero again, she can quickly go back in her armor.  😄

The next girl has ties to another girl I have had for a bit.  She's the twin sister to a custom SQ Labs kitsune I got from my buddy at Doll Delights named Shia.  Say hi to Misaki!

Misaki is a custom SQ Labs resin head on a Volks SWS DDdy body.  It seems her previous owner painted her and her sister Shia so now they are in the same family!

In the process of cleaning the head off, we found a few marks left from a previous face up job.  Unfortunately we couldn't fix all of them so we decided to roll with it and use them as part of her character.  You can see one of them here on her lips.

Since I had two Obitsu girls that were assassins before, I decided to make this girl their boss.  I named her Bella as a nod to the big bad Russian mob boss in the anime Black Lagoon.  This is her in her younger years before she got all those huge scars she has now.  The one on her mouth is the first of those. 😉 

Of course she gives off big bad b*tch vibes so her office lady attire suits that perfectly.

Last for this update is another girl that I was after for a while but just never got around to getting.  She is a character doll for Volks and is almost always available at their store but for some reason, I never went after her.  This is Candy.
