How you would handle it ? EBAY Problem

I´m not sure if i´m in the right topic and normaly its not a DD topic but i´m a bit ... no i´m much upset.

 

I trie to sell some of my doll collection for buying my next DD. All my dolls i´m very take Care. Most are compltely new with all acessioirs in nearly new condition some only 2 month old never get out from my rack.

 

some are used iß´m second or thrid owner but all in good condition. Now a girl bought a doll ... i had the three times before sell dolls always with trouble but of that i came back later....

 

ok a girl bought a doll i made Pictures of it short before i Packet it and shipped it . now she said i had send her a bricken doll. a feet should broken and nit only since the packing ....

 

i knew the doll was in good condoion and nothing brocken.

 

i´m upset because i think she try to betray me she want lots of money back to much for a brocken feet....

 

the shipping was insured but she want got to postofice with the box .

 

how youlod you handle it.?

 

now to the story before .. why i also take picturers before shipping ...

i sold two dolss a few weeks before. one 2 minath old comolete with everything. The girl contact me and said there where missing pieces and she want some mony back. she get the doll very cheap what upsets me but i coulden´t show her that all picese are in the box ... i didn´t made any pics. i paid her a bit back and 10 days later i found on a board a selling request ... it was my doll splited with all of his stock pieces .. realy all.... i was very upset but couln´t made anything. ebay don´t interested it.

 

 

second doll was a brocken leg too...... i didn´t made again pics ....

girl send doll back got money back. i was frusted because had a brocken doll know ... bought a ney body for it .....

 

3 weeks later i read from that girl in the a forum how she get to dollparts.... she bought on ebey the doll again , exchange the parts and send it back with telling its brocken and she want her money back. so she get a new doll part and paid nothing ......

 

 

so now i´m not sure if this girl who bought my doll makes the same like the other two girls ... what do you would do. because i´m more as sure the doll was not brocken ...... and if its arrived brocken its happends by shipping .

 

how yould you react as seller if someone will tell you you have sold a brocken doll but you know it wasen´t ... do you would risk a negative feedback or do you would pay the high sum she wants back .....

That really sucks. It seems like if the doll was broken, it happened during shipping... if she paid for insurance, she might be able to get her money back from USP/USPS/however you shipped it. But it kind of sounds like a scam... if you had parts in the box and some of them were mysteriously missing either some of them got stolen (unlikely) or the girl is trying to get the doll for free. Especially if she sold it later! Same with the broken one, if it was packaged correctly the fault is on the shipping service not you, and she should seek money back from THEM. Can you contact eBay and tell them you think you are being scammed out of money?

You're super lucky you have pictures from before you shipped, without that Paypal or eBay won't listen. Find the forum she sold on and post your story there, she'll most likely be shamed enough into giving you back the money. Also, contact Paypal and see if there's anything they can do, but most likely they won't be able to since you already sent the money back, so everything's out of their hands. Just keep trying to contact the person directly with the facts that you know that they lied to you and that you would appreciate the money that you are rightfully owed from them. Really hope you can work this out because that sucks =/

That is so awful! I can't believe such horrible things happened to you! I can't do much to support you except get upset about it too.

 

Those girls definitely sound like they are scamming people. I can't believe how stupid that one girl is for posting details of her immoral activities on forums. Hopefully, her posts on the subject can provide you with evidence. I feel like Ebay is particularly bad about not caring. Once they get their fees, they don't seem to care.

well the first two persons its to long and i had no oics. its abaout teh 3 rd now. she said the leg was brocken and for that problem i made thistimes the pictures because i don´t want pay always monaey back for things tahts not my fault or some who try to betray me. i can´t proof what she is saying because she didn´t send pictures and i also told her to go with ebverything to postoffice they proof it and gaver her than the money back but she don´t want. also she always try to force me to pay she and she conflicting the whole time..... first she say ist brocken than its glued .... its strange ...

 

i guess she try to betray me but can attest it .. i only can attest that the doll was ok here before packing.

 

ebay don´t show interests at the moment..... i guess i don´t pay and take the negative and will than ttell ebay to remove the negative .... hope that will be working... i´m realy pissed off because such a conflict i have never have before and that i get it in short time 3 times ....... it ask me where the honestly people .....

If she doesn't want to go to the post office, then it should be her problem. It would be great if Ebay can take off the negative feedback. Leaving negative feedback is the only thing she can do to you since you have proof the doll was fine before mailing. It is possible that the doll isn't broken at all if she won't provide photos. That can be why she doesn't want to go to the post office. It might be easier to deal with Ebay instead of her. She really can't be trusted! I hope you can have better luck in the future. If she doesn't want to go to the post office, then it should be her problem.

Mitsuki is, as usual, completely correct. The post office should handle this without issue without your involvement since it was their error.

Yup, and eBay rarely removes feedback even if it is undeserved. It has to be extreme cirbleepstances for them to take any action and you have to appeal and yada, yada, yada. I once had negative feedback for complaining that I was charged USD $20 for shipping when I received the item and it marked that the sender actually spent USD $4.30. I got completely ripped off. Although I paid quickly and was an excellent buyer, it didn't matter and eBay would not remove the negative feedback that I complained. I stopped using eBay for a long time as a result.

Yup, as I said earlier I stopped buying and selling off of eBay completely as a result of a negative transaction. I am really sorry this happened to you. I would never want to do business with someone like that. One thing you may try doing is putting filters on your auctions for buyers- restrict auctions to people who only have positive feedback, have a high rating, etc. You can do this all on your listing page. thats the strangest she don´t want go to postoffice, she refused. she always talk conflicting stuff. now the feet don´t let moving ..... yesterday it was only brocken, than gleued now not moving.... and she refused photos i ask her to made pictures but she never do. so i havenßt any idea what realy happend.

 

i let you all knew how ebay will react after protest the negativ feedback....

Yeah, you're not alone. I think it's happened to (almost) all of us at one time or another. It doesn't mean it sucks any less but you're not alone at least?
