Boa Hancock

I really like One Piece and my favorite female character is Boa Hancock. I decided to make my own custom one as instead of buying the body and outfit of Shining Blade Sakuya I got the fullset. I think she has the best mold and face-up of any Volks releases thus far for this purpose.

 

I have the red plastic high heels shoes by Volks, but don't know how I will get rest of her outfit done :/

 

I found a good wig from Alice's Collection. Unfortunately I did not do good enough job cutting bangs to it, but hopefully I can later fix it more with wax or something. Too dark to take first pictures of progress so I'll update those later.

Ohh nice! I don't watch One Piece or read the manga but I do know a few of the characters and Boa is a nice one to make a DD of! I think the choice of using Sakuya was a good one as she's very similar in the head and face proportions. I hope you can get her outfit and such figured out soon!

Hancock is actually one of my favorite character in One Piece, besides Luffy.

Can't wait to see pictures. Not sure if a DD body can handle it but you MUST do her signature "Extreme Looking-Down Pose."

I could try the signature pose once. It would be easy if I could get silicone bust and coolcat neckjoint. Lilia's head went all flopsy when she had that compination.

Yes I wish Volks would have made the holes for the earrings because I'm bit scared to make them myself. I don't have a small drill :/

I can't believe it's been two years before I got back to making Boa Hancock ^^; I bought fabrics for her outfit but not going use them before I get the patterns right. Did a test version with ruffles to see how close I'm getting the patterns right.
