A Knight in shining armor

So, I have yet to even purchase my own girl, however my brain is already thinking up ways to make this a reality. I'm a huge fantasy buff and the girl I plan on making is based on a character from a RPG I'm working on. Here is a pic from the game and will be used as a rough guide for creating her.

She looks interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing her.

What do you plan to use for her? Like what head type and body type or wigs and eye colors.

I will be interested in seeing how you make the armor. She looks very beautiful.

As far as for her head, I'm not really sure. It's still going to be a while before I can even think of getting her, though I suppose I could purchase her head and have it ready for when I can find a body. I'm going to use the DDdy body with her, but everywhere seems to be sold out at the moment.

From that first picture I thought she looked a lot like Sasara, but that's a very expensive option. I think maybe an 03 head might work. That's just my opinion, though

Yeah, Sasara would be expensive. SQ Labs has a couple heads that could also fit the bill though, like their Tsubaki head, and they go on normal skin DD bodies just fine to my understanding. Other heads of theirs that I think might work are Haruka, Hime, and maybe Ranka.

The SQ Lab girls have a bit more of the pointy-chin look than most DDs, so they might fit well.

 

The first picture with her eyes narrow looks a bit like Tsubaki or Kirie.

The two two with the eyes more open look like Iris or Wakana.

Ah, the reaction of instant dollie love! Like they leap out, kiss you on the forehead, slap you with a fish, and say, "Buy me, PLEASE!", and then your wallet cowers in a corner.

 

Oh, don't forget to take a look at SQ Labs eyes, too; I think a couple of theirs may look a bit more like the screenshots, with the colored pupil. Never hurts to have more options, and if you do go with Iris you'd get the bonus of combined shipping. Though of course if you really love the look of the Volks ones regardless of accuracy they're still a viable option.

So I did a bit of shopping yesterday and found at a semi-local hobby shop, since there isn't one in my town >.<, I found some craft foam sheets and they are super cheap. Like 90 for a large sheet or like $5 for a huge bundle of smaller ones. That leaves room for error and mistakes. I only wish I had a form to work with since I'm terrible with numbers only, I work better with a hands on approach. I'm tempted to buy a bust so I can get started. Also, should this project work out right, I may decide to work on projects for other should others so desire.

Just a quick update here. Everything has come together. She will be a 06 head on a DDdy body. Face-up to be done by alrick's wife. The eyes are Twin Snow-Twilight Ocean. Once the head arrives to him and I pay the Face-up charge and shipping, she will be on her way home to me. -dies of excitement-

And here she is finally. She's still with alrick at this time, but will be on her way to my hands next week. My very first and I can't wait to hold her.

To my great joy, she has arrived home. I'll post up a couple pics once I dust off the old camera. She looks even better than I could have hoped.
