New Sasara???

Someone posted on Sasara's page on myfigurecollection that there will be a new Sasara dollfie? Anyone any the wiser on this one?

I really hope they re-release her me and my friend really wanted her but got into the hobby way after she had reached like 2k+

I wouldn't be surprised if they do considering the number of other figures I've been seeing with her in the Valkyrie outfit.

Same here. I don't mind is it is new release or version.

 

I also got into the hobby after the Sasara/Tamaki rage and I missed out on the originals and am not about to pay the prices they fetch now.

 

I would love to have a new one.

I will absolutely get her if she re-releases.

Sasara is in the group of dolls that I love looking at photos of but just can't imagine myself owning. (Maybe a re-makeup white skin version, but that would be a bit of a stretch even then.) So I'm rather ambivalent for the most part regarding the possibility of a re-release.

 

If they *do* opt for a pre-order release, I just really, REALLY hope that Volks has learned their lesson and puts a cap on the number of orders per person, because Sasara too would be quite a hit without a doubt and NONE of us want to see a repeat of the split shipping, long delays, and continuing base body shortage.

I hope (selfishly) that she at least has a different face-up, since I paid so much for her already. I wonder what this will do to her value, and if Tamaki is coming next (I paid a lot for her too!).

 

If she has a different face up, I wonder if it would tempt me into getting Sasara twins . . .

If she's redone like Saber Alter was, I doubt it will do anything to devalue the first ones. Saber Alter prices haven't dropped that much at all since the re-release of Alter V2 if you follow auctions on YJA or sales on Mandarake. So I would think Sasara would also hold her value as well... same with Tamaki if she is redone.

 

As for my feelings on this, I like seeing Sasara pics and think she's a very pretty girl. But she's not a must have for me so if she *is* re-released, I'll pass.

 

Now if they re-release Tamaki with the same head and faceup.... I'm ALL IN! I love Tamaki and have no way to afford her aftermarket prices as of now. But a re-release would put her in my price range and I'd go after her big time.

I agree. The wait for Saber was agonizing. And if they do a Valkyrie armor on her, I will so pray they do her as a pre-order. I don't think I'd be able to stand it if I would lose the lottery for her.

HA HA HA! Mitsuki, you're hilarious! And I agree with you tho, she DOES look upset that she's no longer a DDdy size in thos epics. Maybe the recession hit anime land as well and she hasn't been eating as well. Or she's chasing too many monsters thru dungeons and lost weight....

 

And as for another Kitsune to add to the ones already at Scripples.... I think someone over there would freak out if a DDdy shaped kitsune were to show up.

I think it is scripple himself who is against DDdy.

You have a good point. Altho he does seem to like *some* curves since Sakura and Yukino are both L-busts.... Maybe he is afraid of the DDdy booty.

This potential re-release sounds really interesting but like others have said, I wouldn't want a repeat of Volks' Saber pre-order fiasco. It's still impossibly hard to find a body, this is just awful.

If Sasara is rereleased it would be nice but I'll pass. Tamaki is more my cup of tea. But whatever they decide to do I'm hoping for a lottery. Yes it would suck that she wouldn't be guaranteed but I don't want to go through another year of body and parts shortages. I think preorders should be done every other year and if they DO decided to do a preorder this year I think it would be for Aoko Aozaki. haha.
