Kisaki Posted October 15, 2012 Hi, all! Long-time lurker here, checking in from sunny SoCal. I've been part of the BJD community for several years, and my primary focus has always been resin boys, until a lone vinyl girl managed to sneak her way into my household during the winter of 2010. Being the only lady in my collection, Saber Lily ruled the roost as the undisputed queen of the house (and wearer of ALL the outfits) for nearly two years, until Saber (Fate/EXTRA Ver.) recently joined the family. As to why Nero and not Alter ... as a general rule, I don't collect white skin dolls. This is a decision that originated with my resin BJDs, but has carried over to my DDs. I think that WS is gorgeous, and love looking at WS dolls, but the way that white skin shows yellowing so much more obviously over time just gets to me (although admittedly, it's not nearly as much of an issue with the DDs). More power to all the WS collectors out there -- I'll admire all their dolls until kingdom come, I personally just choose not to adopt any at this point in time.
