Talk is cheap...besides its not possible to get 5 Asunas unless you have connections....

Wow, that's pretty lucky. Plus, I thought you could only draw for one of each doll per person? I suppose the lower ratio of Alice against Asuna shows how difficult it might be to get her...

 

Eh... Not really. You can buy multiple guide books. Of course, the odds are 1 in 10 or less per draw to get a number that's actually good enough to get a doll. So either this person bought a LOT of books or they have a bunch of friends. Or both.

 

Edit: Oh, just from what I observed... Volks seemed to have a LOT more Asunas available than Alice. I'm not sure that'll help the odds for any of you who want one though. She seemed really popular.

This time you need to pre-order at DP29 event and is limited to 1 for each person, so i'm thinking that he/she is either talking big or showing off ~~

Part of the reason Asuna lasted longer turned out to be because she was for shipment within Japan only. According to someone who won, there were multiple gaijin who had to give up partway and return their ticket because they failed to be prepared with a Japanese address that could receive the doll.

Oh no! That would be so tragic, going all the way to Japan just to participate, and then beating the odds and winning...only to be rejected and then your dollfie is taken away. I think I would have to be restrained or something, I would not go quietly.

i thought sakura wanted a asuna.

My group all got unhelpful lottery numbers at the Dolpa, so sadly that means no DDS Alice for me yet.

 

Thus far Alice's popularity is mirroring what happened with Aozaki. Alice sold out somewhere in the mid-400s in terms of Dolpa numbers, the same as Aoko, and all the Alice+CasualSet auctions are ending between 100K-118K yen on YJA immediately after release, also same as Aoko did. It's anybody's guess whether they'll continue to be parallel or not after the initial Alice new release rush is over though.

Shinegamix was mistaken about which doll I hoped for - I'd like Asuna's wig at some point, but I'm not going after a full Asuna doll for myself. It was/is Alice Kuonji that I hope to adopt, and seeing her in person confirmed that she's someone worth bringing home for me.

Alice is my target for this dolpa. Majority of the girls I seem to be attracted to come from TYPE-MOON related properties. So that was one of the driving motivations for me pursuing Alice. Second was that I did win Aoko so seems right to go for Alice, since they have a relationship to one another. Was same reason I went for Sakura since I have Rin. And of course after seeing those close ups she is adorable. So hoping I can luck out again on her XD

Can't really tell at the moment, but it seems like after the initial rush, Alice is selling for lower than Asuna? For anyone who has been following the prices please feel free to chime in. At this rate, I feel like Yahoo Auction is going to be the only route if the international lottery fails miserably...

Probably, but only if you were going to be in Japan for a long time compared to a typical vacation. The Asunas aren't finished being made yet, and can't be delivered until late May. You'd need a delivery place 3-4 weeks from now, and that is the big problem for foreigners. Volks said all this in advance, so I was actually surprised to hear about people getting turned away because of failing to prepare.

 

This is an unusual situation. Most of the time, the items are ready and you can take them home from Dolpa no matter where you live.

Asuna price will definitely rise up, soon the price is gonna be high as DD Aoko

So far as we know, there are lots of foreigners attended DP 29 event and eventually had to gave up there order on DD Asuna ~~
