Torso Bending

Uh... This is a really stupid question, but I can't really figure out the answer by looking around... So I'm just gonna go ahead and ask on here, hahah.

Do DD/MDD bodies like, do the torsos move? Like can I make her curl forward or bend back? I've tried to do so with my MDD Rena but I don't want to exert enough force to break her if they can't move. I'm think they can, i mean. The torso is in two parts so. Why am I so stupid. I'm used to resin ladies.

As with all DDs, even MDDs, the torso is a straight piece inside- as such:

So, it does not bend forwards or backwards. (Maybe just a little...)

However, they can bend at the pelvis, allowing them to sit or lean over.

I think a flexible spine doll would be interesting though.

Oh okay! It's a good thing I asked and stopped trying then, huh. Hahah, thanks so much!

that's nice to know, I was certain we could bent them like resin dolls too.

Now I'm sure I can't break her accidently by trying to put her in a certain pose ^-^

So DDs can't bend at the waist...? Or shouldn't? I've been bending mine, they won't slouch forwards, but they've been arching their backs nicely

DDs can bend at the waist joint somewhat. They just don't bend as far as a resin, but that's because on a resin you can sacrifice a nice body line to get the pose. MDDs in particular aren't super flexible, but waist movement is the reason there is a torso joint at all.
