Do clothes for DDI fit DDII/DDIII and vice versa?

Just wondering. I feel like the only one that hasn't upgraded their old girl but I like her the way she is. Even with her pesky elastic and current lack of a head. I'm broke but soon as I can I want to get her a HDD-06 head and maybe some Chien eyes. Not the point! Sorry for the rambling. But yes. I was hoping to fund upgrades to her by making clothes to sell but it's pointless if the bodies are so different the clothing wouldn't fit.

 

I also want to buy her clothing but I worry the newer clothes won't fit her because of body differences. :T

 

So.. am I SOL or is there still hope?

Most clothes are loose enough that they fit.

Occasionally there's an odd hiccup like DD-2 blouse fits a bit too snug on DD-3 bust of the same size... but overall stuff been fitting fine with my girl

Okay. Thanks! I figured bust size would make a difference with tops but I was hoping bust size wouldn't be too different. I plan to work with stretch fabrics anyway so I think it'll be okay. Thanks again!

My Rei came on the DDI body and for a few months, I was using that body with clothing from Volks, Azone, Alices Collections and Nightfall. And of all those clothes, NONE of them were designed for the DDI body... all of them were designed for the DDII bodies. So I don't think you have anything to worry about with clothes for the DDII fitting your DDI girl.

 

As for DD3 clothes, I think some of those are a little longer and maybe a little thinner than the older clothes were, at least from Volks. So like Chise said, you'll see some small variances here and there. But overall you should be fine with DDII and DD3 clothes fitting the DDI body.
