Eyeballies :3

Im just giving my hand at this. I thought i would see what peoples opinions are. Im going to print them off on some glittery cardstock and see how it looks before i glue it together and try in a doll.

 

The black outline is more for my cutting path, when i placed it in the eye area, you dont see this at all.

I actually think that the seam line is too neat >-< and the colors are too different, imho! But the eye itself is nice ^^

which seam line? the ones between the colors? I could make this more of a gradiant. I just was kinda mimicing a style of a show i liked. Yet make it my own style too.

 

Well if it if your own style, then go ahead and try some just like your sample. But from your reference, it looks like they've got some blur between the color changes so I would suggest making a few with different levels of blur. Print a variety so that you can compare which you like best. What looks good printed on paper might not look the same once made into an eye.

I'm curious to see how this turned out, it's a really interesting style and I like the color choices in the sample.

I'd love to see these. They look really cool! I might even order a set for my doll if they turn out nice.

Your eyeballs are so cute! >.< But I would try to blend the purple into the blue more.
