Recommended Posts

Hi !

I found a simple tutorial for making corsets ad i wanted to share it with you.

Unfortunaly, it's in french but I think it's simple to understand (there is a lot of pictures).

As i'm very bad (and i don't have a sewding machine), i didn't test it but I think the result can be good !

Don't hesiste to show your creation

The link is here : Here

If you don't understand something, i'll translate it

Ohhh!! It is really simple to understand indeed ^0^ And looks really useful, I had seen another simillar tutorial once for making a 'body' to make patterns/test fitting?

Anywho, thanks for sharing!

Oooh, nice way of getting tight-fitting patterns. Will definitely try this when I'm making my Dddy girl's tight-fitting clothes.

If you follow this tutorial, please be careful not to get marker pen ink on your doll!

One time I was making a pattern block for my resin boy with paper towel, and the violet sharpie just soaked right through the paper towel in one spot. Immediately scrubbing it off with a magic eraser worked, but I'll never do that again! And I'd never go near my vinyl girls with a marker.

Instead of putting more tape over the paper towel, I'd just use pencil to mark where I want the seams (or use masking tape).

I just don't want anyone to accidentally stain their doll without thinking

That's why you need to wrap around your doll with cellophane
