DDS Blouse and Skirt Patterns

Recommended Posts

Tieren

Hi all,

Today I'd like to share blouse and skirt patterns I created while on vacation last month. I specifically sized them for Millhi's M-bust DDS body but they would probably fit on M-bust DD2/DD3 as well. You are welcome to do whatever you want with the patterns. I made them as a way to test the process I used for making them. I won't go into the details of that but here's the model:

And here's the (near) final result on Millhi:

First, here are the two pages for the skirt pattern:

I hope this pattern is pretty straight-forward. Line up the seams that are the same length. It can be a bit tricky because the edges of the seam allowances are not quite the same length. When sewing the vertical seam, make sure enough is left open so that it fits around your dollfie's hips. Fasten with a snap, button, velcro, or zipper.

Here's the shirt pattern:

I added labels because this one is more complicated. It's both similar to other doll shirt patterns and different at the same time. This pattern I've only sewn by hand. It's a bit tricky because the pieces are small and there's a right angle. Rough instructions would be:

Cut 2 of each piece

Sew hem 1, hem 2, hem 3

With right sides together sew seam 0 (shoulder seam that connects fronts to backs).

Sew seam 1 (connects 2 front pieces).

Sew seam 3's (connects sleeves to fronts/backs).

Sew seam 4's to close the sleeves.

Sew seam 2's (connects fronts to backs).

Sew hem 4/5.

I've also sewn the seams in the order 2, 3, 4 but it's tricky to sew in the sleeve properly without having one side open.

I hope you're able to get some use out of my patterns!

I am really confused on the skirt... Is it trying to be a circle with pleats thus the 'points' stick out so much in the 3D-model, or kinda like flower petals?
