Hello from Taipei

First off, I made this account long ago, and obviously I was just a lurker here. But I feel like now it is time for me to stop lurking.

 

My name is Aoibara, and I am from Taipei, Taiwan. I am half Japanese half Taiwanese and Canadian. I was interested in Dollfie Dreams just at the same time I encountered the Volks Rozen Maiden SDs. Although I reside in Taipei at the moment, I am going to leave Taipei very soon because I am a senior. I do not know where I am going next.

 

About a year later after discovery, I ordered a FCS doll from Kyoto. Then another half a year, I got my first Dollfie Dream, a custom DDH-03 named Hizuru (She is directly based off a character from the anime Towa no Quon.), and she was my lovely birthday present.

 

I hope I can make awesome friends here, and nice to meet all of you!

Being a "lurker" I am sure you already know all the great stuff here on Dollfie Dreams. Have you ever posted a photo of your custom Hizuru?

 

Until you decide where you are going next, perhaps you can go on holiday in the United States and stop by Arizona to join one of our doll meetups. Everyone is very friendly and I always learn something new. And there are plenty of members around your age...I'm one of the old people in the group

Thanks! I was actually just checking if the forum isn't snarky, and it is civil which it is! I got some basics on DDs from the USA Volks blog and it helped my life totally.

 

I already know the awesomeness here. I haven't posted a photo here because of the new member limit thingy, but I will once I can! If you cannot wait, you can visit my deviantART to meet her.

 

Thanks for the doll meetup invitation, but I am afraid I do not have the luxury to go on a holiday due to home financial issues. I really appreciate it, but I am so sorry I need to decline it. I would love to go on a meetup one day when I find my location! (note: Likely Canada.)

 

Haha, being old does not create boundaries from being friends! I have friends who are significantly older than I am (Not the nsfw way of course LOL.).

Although I am Taiwanese, my Chinese is really bad, but I was able to read some part of your sentence because I can read Kanji, meaning I can read some Chinese. Thank you!

Haha, that's okay! We're the opposite then-- my Chinese is good, so I scrape by when it comes to Kanji. F-31 is a very handsome mold! Congrats! You don't see too many of those around.

My Japanese and Chinese are terrible or rather non-existent. Welcome, fellow DD-fancier ^_^

Please do post a picture when you can- I'd love to see Hizuru! So she's a DD? Cool!!!
