Greetings and Salutations from a North Carolina Newbie!

Hello! I'm AerisAquata, and I'm a doll addict. I suspect when I finally buy my first daughter, I'm going to get head-over heels into this hobby!

I'm going to be saving for a customized HDD03 with a DDdy body and all the supplies I'll need for her faceup.

I already have a name picked out for her! 七海静花, or Nanami Shizuka. She's going to have red eyes and a shy, quiet face-up. I can't decide on a wig for her, though I'm leaning towards something light blue.

Hey there neighbor! Where abouts is Bunn? If it's near Charlotte or Raleigh, you can go to some doll meets where people have DD's. I drive up to Charlotte all the time!

 

Nice to hear you're getting an 03 head on a DDdy body! I have four DDdy girls and I love their curves! Hopefully you can get her together soon!

Bunn is around 20 miles east of Raleigh. It's maybe 3 hours from Charlotte. Doll meets are a definite possiblilty!

 

I pretty much fell in love with the DDdy body when I saw it. It's more feminine and graceful than the DDII, IMO. Plus I have a weakness for curvy characters.

 

Everyone seems pretty friendly here! It's a nice change from what I've heard and seen about other doll communities.

At first I was a bit reluctant about the DDDy body... But when I have received my dear Juno (Alna) I felt in love of her beautiful face and body! The DDDy body is beautiful and there are so many nice clothes for this size ><

I collect Monster High dolls. They're really neat playscale dolls with ball joints and detachable hands and arms.

I've been thinking about getting some Pullips as well.

Ah ok. So you're near garner. That's where my Manami's mother lives.

 

Oh, I fell for the DDdy body hard. Manami was my first girl and she's a DDdy girl with an 01 head. She is my first daughter and the most special to me. And I now have 4 DDdy girls so I really like having them. So we both have that weakness!

 

Yes, I know what you mean about other communities being a bit "off". this place is great, has lots of nice people and everyone is super helpful. I hope you enjoy your time here!

 

As for doll meetups, there is going to be one in Charlotte at my friends place in September. If you're interested in going, he and his GF have LOTS of DD girls as well as some resins. I'll be going too so some of my girls will come with me. I can let you know about it as it gets closer if you want.
