Aila Jyrkiainen (GBF) and Shimakaze (Kancolle)

I think I hate myself

 

Been itching to do these two for a while now. I figured it wouldn't hurt to put up a thread to help me keep track

 

Wanted to make Aila for the longest time now, I loved her character ever since her first appearance in the series , and even more ever since episode 10 (Seriously if you aren't watching Build Fighters, stop what you're doing and watch it nowww). Seeing as how I'm slowly getting attached to her at a similar level with naoto, I feel like I should at least make her in doll form, or her costume at the very least www.

 

 

Head: ?? (thinking of using my second Rise Senka as her base, or Saber Extra)

Body: Debating if I want to bother turning her into a DDS or just a DD

Bust: M or L

Costume: ????

Wig:

Eyes: She'll most likely be borrowing Naoto's since friends pointed out the color is right for her.

 

I've always liked Shimakaze. If I have to be honest she was one of the first characters that got me interested in kancolle. However, I never seemed to be able to get her while I do ship construction (god knows how many Naka's I churned out ww) , that I ended up giving up on constructing her. She did decide to appear though at an appropriate time when she finally appeared as a first drop last week after a bad day and cheered me up. While I already have an original MDD girl planned, I don't think it would be that bad to consider making her into my Shimakaze (not that I already plan on having my MDD's faceup similar to hers )

Opinions loved for Aila. I'm unsure what head to go for her, so any advice would be nice~ .

would Alna head WS would be suitable for Aila? just my 2 cents..

it's tempting, but I've had terrible luck with WS (Let's not talk about how bad the stains are on my Luna . ) So I'm probably going to go for NS if ever :C

 

Alna does look like a nice choice for Aila though.
