Yamai Twins (date A Live)

Yo, i have not been on here for awhile. but with my DD Kurumi almost complete i had the idea of DDS Yamai twins to acompany her. i can't afford this now (not with Ranko Kanzaki payed for and Miku's release in fall), but after that maybe. i love these two and thought they could make awesome DDs

 

 

I'm not sure which heads to go for yet, probably identical heads with different eye faceup because they look different. i decided they would best be DDS. they have different bust sizes, so i'm not sure if i need one S-bust and a M-bust or if it is a M-bust and a L-bust, opinions?

 

all opinions and tips are welcome ^^

The one on the right I think would work really great with SQLab Tsubaki! The eyeshape is very similar.

yeh. problem is just that the overall face of both must be very similar

Maybe both as a DDH06, the other as a closed eye version that would only have the eye holes partially cut open to give the slight squint for yuzuru?

could work. alternative i suppose is a head with more slim eyes and enlarge them for kaguya

Oh gosh, true.. Because I was thinking that Tsubaki and Moe from SQLab would be similar to that picture, but I know Moe looks quite a bit chubbier/younger than Tsubaki does in shape. I wish I could be more help, but they look like they will be so very cute!

I think you can ask the dealer on Sq-lab to customize face up for you (but they are not 100% perfect to the request) I think you can ask for twin face up to use same head mold 1 is same as default and other open mouth and eyes is possible (resin can do too)

 

for the body I prefer DDs with one torso M-bust from Idol master project

With DD body I would say DD3 for kaguya and dddy for yuzuru (in a scene in the anime they are seen in profile and yuzuru seems to be more curvy in the hips too). It's also referenced many times.

If dds i think nothing can beat the look of the single piece torso, but also the normal one would look pretty cool.

 

For the head... I don't like the 01 so I would say modded 06 too. You could have them done both without lips and with painted mouth like the reference picture you posted

SQ Tsubaki and Hibiki look similar, but Hibiki has her eyes more open. Maybe that would work? Keep in mind, SQ heads are a bit small for DD. Aaaand, I've been trying to refrain, but I'll just go ahead and suggest Lucy. I'm a Lucy-holic, I can't help but think the girl on the right looks like Lucy.
