My Gorgeous Rina Ogata has Arrived!

Sadly this is not the intro post I had in mind for my Rina. But because of a mistake on how she was shipped, she arrived to me with several bad stains that need to be treated. So the outfit I had in mind, just pretty much all of it will have to be put on hold until I get her treated. Unless another outfit that I think that will work in hiding her stains works out then I may be able to get a better intro post up sooner. Just have to find some time to make this work.

 

I'm just so happy to have her. She is so much more beautiful in person. I could stare into those gorgeous big brown eyes all day. So even with the staining issue, I still love her very much. It's so wonderful to make her apart of my DD family.

 

Anyway here are some quick pics of her. Not the best quailty, but I'm just so thrilled to have her I wanted to get some kind of pics to show her off some. When I get the better pics I will be sure to update this. I promise more and better will be coming soon! But where she was my DD unicorn it's like I must show her off now, can't wait!!!!

I hope the stain treatments go quick for you. I'm giving my Sakura treatment now and while it's no fun having them out of action for a bit it's so nice to see them returning to normal again. I wish you luck with Rina.

You are going to love her so much when you get your Rina! She is just so stunning to see her in person. I keep cheering for you that time passes quickly so you can get your Rina in your arms.

 

I really love her default wig too. It's such a pretty color and goes great with her eyes. I doubt I will switch it to anything else, unless it is something similar in color.

 

I promise many more pictures will be coming soon showing her off. I have lots of photo ideas I want to do and of course I need to get ones with her and Yuki.

Thank you so much! She was shipped to me wearing her default outfit and her default outfit has several pieces of clothing that are black. So her arms, wrists, neck, back, bust, legs, ankles, and feet are all stained from being shipped in that dark clothing.

 

I was very upset when I seen what had happened. I was at a point of tears seeing all the damage from the dark clothing. But I bought lots of acne cream to get her stain treatments started. Hopefully she will be like new soon. I'm looking forward to taking several pics of her when I can get these stains under control.

Thank you so very much!!!! I hope the treaments succeed and I can get her like new again. This will be my first ever girl I've had to do stain removal on so I'm kinda nervous on how well things will go.

She was shipped wearing her default outfit, which has several pieces of black clothing. It was just a bad combination and caused several bad stains on her. It is very frustrating, but I purchased the acne cream so I can start getting her like new again hopefully very soon.

It's a pain treating stains, when you just want to dress them up in beautiful clothes.

Congrats on getting her! Treating stains may be a pain, but it's better than something unfixable having happened to her.

Well, at least her head wasn't stained. Worst case scenario, you can buy a new body and sell the old one. But geez, why ship her in her clothes?

I know the staining thing is a real downer but like others said, you can always replace parts later if the Oxy10 doesn't do the trick. But so far, I've had great success with it and I have no doubts you will too.

 

Congrats again on getting her home. She's in a better place now and will no doubt have so much fun with you and your girls that she'll forget all about those stains.

You are right if I have to I can just get a new body or just replace her bust piece and feet since that is where the worst staining is located. I'm trying the treatments first, hopefully I can be just as successful as Baldylox has been with the treatments.

It was quite the shock that she arrived that way. But I'm positive that I can make her all better though. ^_^

To slightly play the devil's advocate I am thinking she may have already been stained before from her clothing and they shipped her as she was- stains and all(?). Since Volks states on their website they do not consider staining to be a defect (YEAH RIGHT) then it doesn't give you much to go on. I am so sorry to hear about her problems- especially when you waited for so long. I would save up and buy her another body entirely or pick up a DDS body if they ever become available independently(if you like 'em that is). I think she's look super cute on a DDS.

 

Buying from people can be really rough but you did get your dream doll so there's a lot of joy in that!

I think maybe all those stains were there and the previous owner really just didn't know about them or was trying to play it off as only a few. If I'm not mistaken I think her previous owner just kept her in her default outfit so she could have easily had those stains for awhile.

 

Anyway it is most important that I have my dream girl now. I think if the stain treatments don't work I will be buying her a new body. I like the DDS, but I like the new DD3 body even more. So my Rina-chan maybe in store for a new awesome body upgrade.
