Dark blue maid outfit

Hi!

 

I'm trying to customize a doll as Yuzuki from chobits. I'm having a reeeeeeally hard time finding a maid outfit in dark blue and I can't even seem to find a blue wig

 

Does anyone have any ideas? I'd appreciate any help very much. I would make one, but my sewing skills are.....somewhat limited.

Hey there! As far as maid uniforms and outfits go, some good places to check are as follows:

These guys custom make outfits to fit your specific girl's body and are excellent pieces of clothing. They aren't cheap by any means but they are well worth the money due to the amount of detail they have, the craftsmanship involved and the fact they are all lined inside so your girl won't get any stains on her. I think you can also ask about different colors for these outfits too but I'm not 100% sure on that.

These guys have nice clothing that are at decent prices but they don't really custom make too many things like Cool Cats does. I do know that certain things can be tailored to fit certain bodies... I had a maid set made to fit my Yukino on a DD2 body with L-bust and the fit was great! But they don't always do that for all their outfits. Anyways, I don't think they have the blue color you're after but you can look thru that listing above to see if anything might work for you.

The first outfit on the upper left is a nice blue maid set that you might be able to use as a base for the one you want. It looks similar but needs more bows, maybe bigger ones. They have other maid sets on there too as well as on the Japan/International site that you might like as a base too.

 

Yahoo Japan. There are always TONS of custom maid sets on there so dig around and see if anything catches your eye. But depending on where you live, you'll probably have to use a proxy service to buy for you. These are relatively easy to use tho so be afraid of them. Good ones are Shopping Mall Japan, from Japan and Japan Now.
