Story
Kuria is an experimental lifeform dubbed a "Neuntoter", after the Germanic vampire legend. She, and the others of her kind, were grown in a lab by combining human DNA with certain DNA/genetic material from various bacteria, viruses, etc; to create "Human Diseases". Kuru was made with, well, kuru; a brain prion (likely derived from Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease) found only in those who have, uh, aquired brain matter from someone else with the illness.
So, poor Kuria had a pretty poor start in life. While the scientists who made her were not cruel to her, they did create her with a disposition towards unstable behavior, and then failed to adequately teach her how to cope with her violent urges, leading her to often be separated from the other Neuntoter experiments, and thus be poorly socialized.
Upon being released from the lab in her early-to-mid teens, Kuru struggled to make friends due to her odd behavior and background, and so when she did form attachments... oh boy, were they strong.
All this as a TL;DR is that Kuria Neuntoter is a lab-grown yandere with deeply disturbed thoughts behind the friendly, placid smile that doesn't always reach her eyes.

Personality
Kuria/Kuru is very socially awkward. She's usually very quiet, and if she does pop into a conversation, what she offers is usually bizarre, confusing, or downright creepy. Most of her social skills came from reading manga and watching anime, and she preferred weirder ones with more out-there characters, who she at times emulates a bit too much. She enjoys content most other people find disturbing, to a rather unhealthy degree.
Most that she's met would describe her as ditsy, but creepy and off-putting. And that's people who don't know about her powers over disease...

Fashion
Let's just say anime inspired, lol. Lots of seifuku, as well as more goth type stuff. Occasionally likes more colorful, eye-catching subculture stuff.

Hobbies
Watching cheesy anime, reading doujins and fanfiction, cooking, writing in her journals, trying out new makeup looks, and of course, spending time with those near and dear to her.
- Friends & Family Ludovica (has been unofficially "adopted" by the Alexander household, although only Ludo really likes her all that much. Kuru is, of course, very protective of her "little sister", and Ludo thinks that Kuru's mad science-y backstory is cool.) Chibi Ludo (more wary of Kuria, and does find her a little creepy, but likes her well enough.)
