The Herald is in service to a high-ranking Unseelie fae, one with the power to grant wishes. He acts as their personal messenger and secretary, taking down their words and delivering them where they are needed.  While ruthless in parring down 'genuine interest' visitors from 'useless fluff', he is as dedicated in making sure their missives reach his master in return, and arranging appointments as necessary. With a speed to rival the Erosias, and a knack for wielding dangerous artifacts, his small stature belays the true extent of his power. It may also be hiding a few other secrets in there, somewhere.

Upon having extended problems with the dreamweaver Unseelie, Salidane, and rapidly running out of time to complete Paladin's project, Bex and Esper reached out to him as a last, desperate resort to see if his master could aid them. Whether or not they've got a definitive answer remains uncertain, but after one of Llewyr's attacks half-demolished an important power plant in northeast Prosperios, they definitely have the Herald's attention.

Little is known about this enigmatic fairy, except that he has a killer resting face. All business and no levity, he comes across as... well, a bit of a grump. With a tongue as sharp as his horns, he will pour salt on any wound, but exercises just enough restraint to be sarcastic in a timely manner. Only his master is able to pacify him.

...Well, them, other fae assistants, and dessert. He has a preposterous sweet tooth. And a penchant for secrets. Nothing escapes those ears when he is practically an accessory in the room where all the big talks happen.

Although he is relatively impartial, the Herald seems to harbor a particular dislike for Salidane, and will not waste an opportunity to nettle him. Opposingly, he is fond of Salidane's own Herald: a quiet lesser Unseelie with a specialty in daydreams.

Despite his constant moping, he enjoys being dressed up by his master in all the latest fashions.
