As far as I can tell, most of the "cool forum stuff" is locked behind the 30-post threshold. I understand why that is, especially in regards to the Marketplace, but considering the forum is a bit slower, that benchmark is a bit difficult to reach without feeling like you're spamming (as evidenced by my current post count despite the account age 😆). I think that reducing the prerequisite for photos to 15 or so would make it easier for people who are invested to meet that 30-comment benchmark by starting their own photo threads; it would also be a relatively low-stakes adjustment, since anyone who is out to be a menace would likely make themselves known fairly quickly by posting fake/stolen/rule-breaking photos. And it would probably help for better engagement from newer members, since showing off their dolls is something I think most everyone who collects enjoys doing! I know that uploading photos to a 3rd party host and sharing the links is a generally accepted workaround, for what it's worth - I just think that having it accessible conventionally might make for more engagement

A while ago I uploaded my doll profiles to both here and DOA. Both were great but I actually noticed DOA had some features I think would be good for here! These are just suggestions and I’m overall content with how the profiles work here, so please don’t take it too seriously. DOA has a draft feature so you can write and save your profile without saving them! I didn’t see one here. DOA omits sections that were not filled out. For example, if you don’t fill in “Character age” on a Doll Dreaming profile, the section will show up. However if you do the same on DOA, it doesn’t display which imo looks cleaner. I would also like to suggest that instead of the “other dolls” section, there should be a separate category for “other on topic dolls” and “off topic dolls”. Seeing as this is a vinyl centered forum, I feel strange about having dollbot, tiny fox, and imomodoll (which are on topic) in the same section as resins and pure neemos (which are not on topic).

Is there any way we could get a dark mode for the site? I'm not sure what backend is being used, so I'm not sure how easy/hard it is to change and or add features, but a dark mode would be sweet! Thanks!
