painting items

I typically use polymer clay to create props for Cosplay, but have never done so for Dollfie Props and items- I have large quantities of white clay, since I often use acrylic paint to paint them.

 

Under this method, is there a way to seal the paint in? I wouldn't want it to stain Eia's hands. ._. I use Liquitex student grade, so it's synthetic or cheap pigment.

Using a sealant. Modgepodge or the sealers Volks sells should work.

Modgepodge comes in matte and gloss.

well... I don´t know very much about what is Modgepodge...so I don´t know how it would work.

 

but I saw a ton of recipes for Modgepodge making, using glue and water.

Is there a certain kind of glue? Most glue that I own is plastic glue, super glue, or the white glue.
