battrastard Posted June 16 Reopening this page again, so I'm not flooding the "What are you waiting on?" page with more pics. On there, I mentioned a WIP about a certain Mondstadt Bartender arriving in the (somewhat) future, and I (we) have been collecting the odd bits n bobs to get her to completion. So far, I've been taking my time on 3D printing and painting a Sacrificial Bow: Still needs a LOT of detail work before I'm satisfied with it. But the print itself is detailed very nicely. @Poofiemus has been Very helpful in both doing her faceup, and trying to style her wig. Nattinator, a good friend up in the Phoenix area, ( I don't think she's on here?) has been helping out, making her outfit and boots. Other things that are incoming will be her eyes. a set from both Natrume and ShiNes Workshop are soon to arrive, also. I'll be using this page for further updates, as things progress. battrastard Posted June 16 Speaking of being 'Impulsive', when I was working on base, I liked to collect patches to put on my packs: Some were from work, but a lot were bought online, i.e. woodpatchs, ahoworks, weapon grade waifu and such. Having gotten Frieren and Fern, these were definitely going in my collection: Now, add a 3D printer and time to paint it, this happened: Not exactly how I wanted the pic to come out, still fidgeting about with focusing. I do want to find the grenade launcher for Fern, though. Thought about GoatGuns, but being made of metal, it'll be way too heavy to pose for her. Back to the interwebz, I guess... I want to say Ubel has the same English VA as Pitohui from Gun Gale Online and Beido from Genshin Impact, (so close!!) I need to research it, to be sure.. (Edit: I stand corrected! battrastard Posted July 4 (edited) As promised, more progress on the Sacrificial Bow: Another coat of silver will be needed in the diamond shaped areas, this is only the first coat. Once that's done, there's a small 'filigree' near the diamonds at the ends that will get a lighter coat of gold. All 'touch-up' after that, and a final light pearl spray before a solid clearcoat of gloss, for stain prevention. The final result should look pretty good, I think.
