How to arrange the Smart Doll hijab?

Recommended Posts

Aurora

I've seen the photo instructions on Danny's Facebook/Twitter but can't make head nor tail of them. (Could be because my eyes are old.) There seems to be a step or two missing - Ie what to do with the ends once you've attached the press studs and hook. I've looked for examples on YouTube but that hasn't helped - they seem to start by pinning under the chin and, of course, use pins not all these fasteners.

Does anyone know of better instructions I can follow? I have the original set.

I got one of these sets coming in. I'll see if I can be of help once it arrives.

I figured it! It took me a couple of tries but after you've attached the hook and press studs, you have to wrap the long end around her head. Then you have to scrunch/bundle it together and attach with the hairclip.

I hope these photos will help you out.

This is what the hijab looks like after you've attached the hook and press studs.

Pull the left part around her neck.

Wrap the right part under her chin and around her head.

Get all the layers together and put the hairclip.

Do show me photos of the result ^___^

Ah, thank you so much. I shall have a go later. I just changed her out of her turtleneck this afternoon so it may be a while before she's ready for photos.

Later - yes, it looks so much better now! Thanks again.
