How effective is washing/vinegar?re: Senbonzakura Len outfit

Two parts to this:

 

1) Does the Senbonzakura Kagamine Len outfit stain at all?

 

2) (my main question)

How effective is washing dark clothes several times then soaking in vinegar? Like if there was a piece of clothing that was infamous for staining, have any of you totally stopped it staining by using the washing/vinegar/colour seal technique?

be very careful with the cloth if its mix with dark color parts and light color parts, as it can stain and cause a color change in the lighter part. Also I find that after volks cloth tend to wrinkle after soak and wash, but I think it might be ymmv.

The other issue is vinegar can only help with a few types of dye, not all types of dye, and we have no idea which dye they used.

 

Also, yes, not all Volks outfits take kindly to being washed.
