The Fire keeper reveal

I love dark souls 3 and after getting my first dollfie (recently), the idea of creating "the one who sworn to help the ashen one with his deadly journey", called "the fire keeper", was born. Now it's more like a personal project that I want to achieve, so this is the concept.

First. Who's the fire keeper? It's a crucial npc that helps the player in the game. Here she is:

And this is a fanart (which I don't own), that resembles more or less an anime style that could work on a dollfie:

So, I was thinking I could use a semi white-skin base body dd III with the kos-mos head. For the crown, I'd like to use some brooches holding it on the wig, and made by some kind of soft cloth so I don't hurt the face paint. About the outfit I'm still thinking. Any suggestions?

I'm thinking magnets under the wig might hold the crown better. As for material, look into craft foam armor tutorials--the stuff can be kept soft inside, will be lightweight, and can seriously look like metal if you put in the time and effort.

I LOVE your firekeeper project. I got into Miyazaki with Bloodborne as first and played ds1 and 2(still on it) and Sekiro. I will keep a close eye to your firekeeper. For the custom outfit if you want to spend some money you can try and request to a seamstress. Some polish bjd seamstresses do realistic medieval outfits but they’re not very cheap. If you manage to find some, the outfit can also match to the Astorias girlfriend.

I recall somebody in the forum wanting to do the spiderqueens of DS1 so maybe it was you Pit ^^ 

As I’ve tried to do soulsborne doll attempts I will intrude my plain doll (in the making because I’m expecting 2B soon and her realistic plain face will suit the doll more)

Ty!!! I did exactly what you suggested because my sewing skills suck, and a lot haha. 

One of my cousins is seamstress with experience so I'm her assistant as she gives me some advices. Don't have photos right now because work ate a lot of my time due to end of the year, but soon I'll upload some. Maybe the patterns or the dress itself.

And sorry but I was not the person you're talking about, but the idea of queelag and queelana is awesome!! I wonder if someone could adapt the lower torso to fit perfectly. I'd like to see it. 

About the Artorias girl, Ciaran, it's not a bad idea either!! Maybe I'll consider it for a future customization. 

And your doll customized as... Well, "the doll" looks nice!! As you said a realistic face will be better. I'd go for 2b, kos-mos or maybe Rise.

The project has been slow, but with some progress. Now, with the recent situation all of us are facing, things have advanced a little bit more.

Now i started to look for a good wig and found two good options. Both are the same model, but the color is different and that's a problem because I'm not sure what color could be better. So I wanna know which color you consider the best choice, to take it into consideration.

I'm completely unfamiliar with the character and game, but based on the art you posted, the first (white) wig is likely going to be too light and too neutral/white in color; the second one seems closer.

 @cfx Thanks for the recommendation, i was thinking the same. I was curious because some fan arts showed the character with a pale color wig, like the first one but many people have told me the second wig Is the right choice.

It’s already so cool Pit!

Thank you! Unfortunately, we found a great mistake after doing comparisons with the game character: the skirt must be longer so It drags on the floor. Although we tried to find a solution, we couldn't, so we sew another one.

Second try:

I will keep the first one, but I think this is waaay better. It was worth the effort and time.

Not familiar with the character or game but, awesome progress! Lovely elegant dress!

Your Fire Keeper is really looking great! Can't wait to see her all finished. 

I haven't played the game but I am a fan of the aesthetic and character design. She looks so awesome! And the fit on the skirt is really lovely to look at ^^

Two years, people. Two long years have passed and this topic was abandoned due to a hard economic and emotional situation I had been through with all the things COVID did. Even now some 2020's issues continue, plus the hard times from this year you all know with Russia. But enough of that. Taking advantage of the Dark souls 3 creators new videogame Elden Ring release and that I need to finish all my undone projects at once, this topic needs to be restored. Such as the Ashen one (dark souls lll protagonist) tries to restore the flame of Lordran. And for that, he will always need his Firekeeper:

Thank you, we tried the best we could to make her look the most accurate possible. Maybe I will also cosplay my Kos-mos as firekeeper with a whiter wig. Idk, need to think about it. And Yeah, Dark souls is awesome. I love the series too, along with Bloodborne and Elden Ring.
