I always try to make it out to a few live shows each year, and it's no different this time around, and so I wanted to do something a little music based while also paying tribute to one of my favorite artists, Daft Punk! So lets fire up those stage lights and get to doing it right! Nina is at the turntable spinning up the jams! Flipping the faders and putting the right plates down to keep the vibe right. In modern practices, it's referred to as Litha on the wheel of the year, but in ancient times, it wasn't as big of a deal in the celtic mythology. Sure, there's midsummer in other pagan traditions, but the rites around those are usually just their version of Beltane or May Day. Regardless, it's the longest day of the year, so what better way to celebrate than by having a feast, a bonfire, making some flower crowns or just enjoying the summer season! DesertPhantom51 Posted July 11 July has arrived, it's hot and sunny, so what better time for sundresses! No theme, just pretty sundresses. Yeah, I just got three new pretty dresses I wanted to show off, what are you gonna do. Next month is Hot Girl Summer, which is slightly better than my original plan at the beginning of the year of 'Potpourri'. Anyway, pretty girls in sundresses! Emma coming to start things off in a lovely white blue print dress. She's such a serious girl. Next is Rapunzel very much enjoying the sunny weather and season. and finally Lydia in a twin to Rapunzel's dress but blue, and serving up some 'this is how you're supposed to wear that' energy. That's all for July, I'll be back around the first of the month for another Wheel of the Year entry, then again further into August with my normal post. DesertPhantom51 Posted August 2 The Wheel of the Year keeps turning! Today is Lughasadh, or Lammas depending on your traditions. It is the festival of first harvest or first fruits and marks the beginning of the second half of the year. So I set up Merida as our harvest maiden, and resisted the urge to make a matching corn doll of her lol. I couldn't help myself from including references to The Wicker Man again though. Oh well, pop culture is gonna pop culture. Regular August photos are coming mid month this time, as I'm still waiting for a piece or two to arrive. Until then, thanks for stopping by again! DesertPhantom51 Posted 4 hours ago Well, we're half way through the month, and I can't wait anymore, Hot Girl Summer is almost over! We'll work the outfit into next month somehow... Anyway, it's hot, it's summer, and near the shore things are heating up as people try to cool down. So here's two of my girls showing off that summer style! First up is Samus at a beach overlook! railings are for more than safety! and Nina is down at the shore herself in a swimsuit with a punky coverup. New wolf cut too! (I decided I have a lot of wigs, and she seems like the girl who would change her hair style/color a lot. So look forward to that!) Time to hit the water!
